Keep telling yourself that. Then one day, if you become a big businessman, and own your own company, you'll realize that revenue is exactly what matters.'(revenue)', i.e. nobody gives a ****

[QUOTE="RRTTWAAA"][QUOTE="gaming25"] Who said that Activision made this up? You call us haters, because we dont like the game.gaming25Calling you a hater because you don't like the game would be atrocious. But it's the fact that some believe this is made up, that's ridiculous. They are telling you that the information isnt an indicator of how active it is. 3 more minutes average means nothing when the amount of people on Facebook a day completely obliterates Black Ops. And you don't know that... According to information, they're very close.
[QUOTE="RRTTWAAA"]ROFL @ the haters, I just provided a link clearly proving that Black Ops is more popular than Facebook, and yet people refuse to accept it, as if Activision was making this up. :lol:gaming25Who said that Activision made this up? [QUOTE="RRTTWAAA"]Lmao, raptr! Activision releases official stats, and claims the only game that transcends Facebook in terms of activity, is Black Ops. And Activision in company with Blizzard owns World of Warcraft, so I believe it would have been released those stats, were there any impressive ones. And the worst excuse ever: They don't care about stats  :?Lucianu
CoD is casual crap that sells because of marketing, just like Lady Gaga & Justin Bieber sells. Accept that fact and move on already.
I know you don't want to accept this, thus you're trying to convince yourself that CoD is actually quality (which is not), with this thread, but..
let it go. Let it go, man. Its okei.
If it sells due to marketing, then why are millions of people still playing it months and even years after release? Sure, marketing can sell a game to a huge amount of people, but if the game is crap, they are going to quit playing it and switch to something else very fast. That is not the case with CALL OF DUTY. It's quality...If WoW even came close to the Black Ops numbers, I'm sure Activision Blizzard would have naturally announced it. Don't be mad now, it's just a game.[QUOTE="RRTTWAAA"][QUOTE="KingsMessenger"]
It isn't more actively used... The average user just spends more time on Black Ops per day than they do on Facebook... Total activity is measured in cumulative Manhours. Facebook DESTROYS Black Ops in that regard. 400 million * 55 minutes per day >>>>> 15 million * 58 minutes per day
Gaming is also a far more actively engaging activity. The goal oriented nature and the social aspects work together to make something that is undeniably a time-sink... In terms of average user playtime per day, I wouldn't be surprised if World of Warcraft surpassed both Facebook and Black Ops combined.

Or Blizzard doesn't give a **** about a non-statistic like this... Average Playtime per Day is nothing... It doesn't matter nor is it an accurate guage of ANYTHING.
http://www.electronictheatre.co.uk/index.php/pc/pc-news/6775-world-of-warcraft-average-playtime-parallels-call-of-duty
Average Playsession is approximately 2.1 Hours. OWNED
Even more fun and demonstrating just how much of a non-statistic this is:
http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/25/apb-has-130k-registered-players-high-average-playtime-and-reven/
APB had the Average User Playing 4 hours per day.
OWNED AND OWNED
And OWNED

There are far more gamers that own systems, that decide not to play Black Ops. Stop acting like the vast majority of gamers play Black Ops.

I'd put *ME TOO* in same sentence though.DibdibdobdoboHow can you possibly deny the fact that it scored 9.0 here, by GameSpot's standard meaning it's a superb game, with the motivation: "We absolutely recommend any game in this range, especially to fans of that particular genre. However, games that score in the 9 range are also typically well suited to new players. Games that earn 9s are naturally uncommon, and earn GameSpot's Editors' Choice Award for their outstanding quality."?
