Konami has Hideo Kojima and his Metal Gear franchise, along with the Zone of the Enders one. 2k games doesn't have a heavy hitter like him to be a crutch when the other titles start slipping up.

I know bioshock is around the corner but if your looking for a great cheap game you guys should pick up or rent a copy of Earth defence force. Man this game is 53 levels of pure crazyness. It's like being in a cheezy godzilla movie with a little bit of independence day mixed with starship troopers.

You fight hoards of giant insects or crazy walker robots hellbent on killing you. There are huge cities that you can completely destroy ever building and skyscraper in sight .

There are some enemies that are so big they reach the sky and your about the size of their toe. This game should have been bigger than dead rising and it was allot more fun so pick it up if you can find a copy of it.

Holy crap man, Im glad I'm not the only one who feels this way about EDF. That game is sick insane, with HUGE bosses and a fully destroyable city. It really was a hidden gem. Online Co-Op could have made it even better though, it does havesplit screen but not online. Dead Rising was such a waste honestly. EDF really was a worthy purchase.

The 360 only has a 1 year warranty from the date of purchase. the extended 2 years only cover 3 red lights, which indicate that your 360 has commited suicide.

Exactly. It doesnt cover the numerous problems like for instance, the DVD drive failing which is an issue, video oit puts failing. If something happens besides failuire we are only covered for a year. WHich is bound to happen if you dont get failure your gonna get something. Disc drive failures are a pretty common thing too.

Quit acting like its user fault when it isnt. You guys dont remeber MS stating TWICE since the 360 has been out that there is a huge failure rate, and has a defect that causes hardware failure.

Why do people keep saying that gears looks real. It doesn't. Has anyone here ever ran around shooting at anything? On top of that, the blood effects are terrible. When it globs up on the screen it doesn't look at all real, or interesting. The only thing gears has is.....force feedback. And even then it's not that great. albyx

Your Obviously in denial. the Ps3,s graphics are not up to par yet with the 360 case closed. Does that mean the 360 is better hell no it doesnt. Look at the physics and paritcle effects that PS3 games have as oposed to the 360 games. But Graphics to Graphics, right now the 360 wins. Sony will prevail soetime in the futrue as far as textures go. But it will be on in-house games. Ports will probably always mostly look better on the 360.
