People will still buy it, but honestly lets look at facts: 1.They are going to be selling at the worst time of year, after Christmas and tax season. A lot of people dont get tax returns, and those that do are so in debt from christmas, that they wont be able to buy the game.

2. An interesting fact is that the game is now releasing at the time the 360's DLC comes out.....Honestly this is BS, there is something fishy about that. WHy would they say that the DLC will be realsed at that time, and now the game is pushed back until that time....Either the 360 is hindering it, or R* cant release the game until the DLC is done too, which is another thank you to MS, if thats the case basically its being delayed so the 360 has the advantage of the DLC right from the start which is underhanded (and smart) if this therory is the case. its already been said that R* is in a binding contract with MS, if they dont finish it on 1 disc, nobody gets GTA 3..thanks R* for hindering every one.

3.This hurts the PS3 because this game would have sold triple or quadruple the amount during holiday season than its goiong to in first quarter of next year. Its gonna sell like garbage at that time. GTA is the type of game that helped the PS2 and regardless of content or what ever, peopel will get a PS3 for this game. But in the first quarter of next year do you really think that people can afford 600.00 and a game AFTER christmas? not many. The 360 has a decent line up this fall and winter. The PS3 has a few good games coming as we know the ports will be mediocre. The 360 is going to have a great holiday, same cant be said for the PS3. We needed MGS4 and GTA 4 this year. There are no games in the PS3 line-up now that say WOW, this is why we paid so much...at least not for me.

PGR4 DEVS HAVING TROUBLE FITTING GAME ON DVD9! PGR4 devs are having trouble fitting all the track data on a dual layer DVD. I always wondered why MS never used Blu-ray or HD-DVD for games DVD9 is going to show its limits very soon. I knew it would happen eventually. ANd yes MS can use Blu-ray because Sony doesnt own it, they just support it.

I mean what are games like Fable 2 and Fallout 3 going to be like if they wont fit on a DVD and then corners have to be cut. This is why Fable the original lost a lot of content cause Moyneux wanted to do things on a huge scale but DVD was limiting. They have found a work around but at what cost? Will physics and Graphics be crippled because of Disc space?

Whats Gears 2 gonna be like? And this is exactly why the first Gears was so short, disc space matters, and I dont feel like being nickled and dimed by MS if in the future we have to download extra content that the PS3 gets on the disc because of space limitations that DVD9 has.

Whta do you guys think? I think MS should have thought about the future and not rushed the 360 just to get a head start.

im on my 9th one ive had 2 that didnt even work when i got them from ups:evil:GCROCKS18

Thought I was the only one. My 7th broke and they sent me a new one (my 8th)with all the hardware fixes (Ben Q DVD drive and new heat sink),..........2 days later it gives me random disc read errors and almost gets hot enough to burn my skin. Its got lots of room all that jazz. Well I actually sold my 8th (didnt wanna bother sending it in anymore)and was gonna be done with the 360 all together, low and behold my girlfriend buys me an elite. Gotta say that it runs really cool and quiet so far....but so did my last until 2 days later.

Im hoping this one is the lucky one, but you know its bad when MS themselves say that the failure rate is high. And Peter Moore leaving is no help either. Wonder if he knew a S*** storm was coming and just decided to bail? Anway I want a 360....and I hope I never have to replace this one:)

Sorry guys but it isnt coming to the 360. Mulitple disc's would suck, and it would still have to be compressed which Kojima said would take too much out of the game graphically. Even on multi disc's it would still need compression and Kojima doesnt want that.

He also has said that the Octi-camo just wont run on the 360's processor setup. This game was built ground up for the PS3 with the Cell, Blu-Ray, and the RSX in mind, a port would diminish the qualioty of the game and Kojima doesnt want that either. I would love for 360 fans to get to play it, but its not feasable on the 360. Kojima has confirmed too many times that this game is not coming to the 360.

Jesus and to think that we have to go through all this micromanagement to play our 360's, its rediculous. in 20 years of gaming I have never seen a system like this, that breaks down so much. Should be basic, keep it clean and give it air, just like the other 7 generations of consoles and that SHOULD be enough but its not.

MS does put a more efficient DVD drive in the new repairs as well as another heat sink. So the newer repairs should be good to go. Although I just got my repair back (my eighth console) and after 2 days of barely playing it its already givng me tons of disc read errors. MS has already admitted that a huge amount are faulty, but there working on it.....supposedly, and if you get 3 red rings your covered for 3 years in that scenario.

Your not doing anything wrong..its not you its the console, MS themselves have already admitted to this. Just be patient or can the system. myself Im not sure what im gonna do cause 8 consoles breaking down is crazy. I have evn had the wiring checked at my house, and that was not cheap. Hopefully soon they get these things fixed for good.

Well a few days ago I praised MS for finally sending me a console that worked. I praised the fact that it ran much much cooler thanks to the heat sink and it has the more efficient Ben Q DVD drive. Heres a link to the thread. I mean I was so happy finally after all this time I had a excellently working console. I was like a kid at christmas. And now this morning I wake up and decide to game a little before work, and I get nothing but disc read errors and thing heats up within minutes to almost burning hot. I had it on for a total of maybe 45 minutes to an hour, and pretty much all of my games are unplayable. Talk about bad luck:(

This saddens me:( I was so looking forward to having a great 360 experience finally, only been waiting since launch...it appears Ill be waiting once again:(

ANyone else get there 360's back with the new hardware fixes only to find it still not working? This is my eighth console to die on me. I have adequate room for breathing like 2 feet on all sides, maybe they just goofed on the heat sink or something....god this sucks:( AH well, its all good, I just hope they fix it this time:) I have been through this 7 other times whats one more:lol: Well off to work! Seriously though has anyone else had this problem with the new hardware fixes?

sounds like u should buy that blue ray movie called big fat liar

Maybe you should rent that movie called Loser, another fanbot who apparently didnt get the memo from MS about 360s being faulty. Its nothing but truth man, sorry you cant deal with that. I live in Wa. state were MS's has its headquarters, and its been on not only local but national news as well that the 360 is faulty and MS is spending 1.5 billion to try and remedy it.

Its really sad that the truth hurts your feelings, you must be emo.....*tear*

LMAO your right, and i love that little Tear part. lol but although the 360 being faulty for the most part, it is still a great gamming experience when it works.

i totally agree when it works its the best, its just that when it doesnt work thats when things start to suck:(
