Guys, I have been a staunch 360 supporter since its launch. However, I am now on my 3 rd XBOX 360 and quite frankly have had enough. When I size up the two consoles, the PS3 simply offers more bang for your buck. Is the PS3 a good system? What games should I start out with? How about BluRay movies?

Im totally going to agree with you man. I actually had all 3 systems. the Wii was garbage, and the PS3 just didnt have any games I wanted....but truth be told, right now, Id rather have a console, have to wait a few months for good games as opposed to my console constantly breaking down.

My 7th 360 just went crap up, like last week, Im waiting on my coffin in the mail. The PS3 does offer quite a bit hardware and reliability wise, its just that in all honesty the 360 has more games I want right now, plus all the big multiplats like GTA4 etc. are coming out for the 360 and some of them are coming first to the 360.

I wish I could afford both systems in all honesty. I kind of liked Motor storm and I wish I could play LAIR when it comes out. Oblivion ROCKED for the PS3....just wish it had the down load content that the 360 version has. I can say as of right now I may just switch back to the PS3 and completely can my 360. The 360 is such garbage, reliability wise....almost 2 years in and they still cant fix these problems..WTF! Im so sick of frigging having to send it in I knew I should opf never got rid of my PS3, but the game bug got me, and I needed the trade in credit. ****! By the way does anyone KNOW for a fact when or IF Bethesda will be releasing the DL content for Oblivion? Cause I could Play Oblivion for ever lol, and just buy a 360 when Fable 2 comes out...which Im seriously considering doing right now.

In my opinion.....No let me rephrase that...Its a FACT that ALL online play should be free. With what MS makes off downloads and in game advertising, they don't need to charge us for online play. DL content and advertising alone will turn them a profit and pay for server maintenance. Anyone who believes other wise is ignorant.

PCs have had great online service for years with out charging. While Im an avid 360 player and fan, I can say that while $50.00 a year is cheap...its still stupid. We should not be paying to play online. This is why I hope Sony gets there online up to snuff with LIVE. If they can give an equal if not better service for free then MS will be forced to make gold free....then do what they did with the 360 elite. Add more super unnecessary things to it, and call it xbox LIVE platinum and charge $60.00 a year because THAT IS WHAT MS IS ABOUT: MONEY

Can you see it a couple of years from now: Gold will be free but Xbox LIVE platinum will have supeduper features that will again make us pay.....The cycle wont be broken unless consumers break it. Even I can agree that while paying is the stupidest thing in the world, we will all do it, until someone else can best LIVE and make it free. With all the mistakes that MS has been making (Hardware failures, charging for online, not including a bigger disc format etc.) Sony shopuld be capitalizing on it...but they are to stupid to apparently lol.

just get dropped from LIVE? I mean Signed out. Was there maintenance planned or something?

I actually had all 3 at one time, but guess Ill post anyway.

1. It was out first.

2. I adored the original XBOX, over the PS2 last gen.

3. XBOX LIVE is the only unified internet system, with friends, etc.

4. MS seems to have the upper hand in games this gen.

5. Fable 2, and Halo 3 were a couple of reasons why I bought it as well.

Now someone should make a thread about why some of us wish we could give the damn console back to MS:P I got about 7 reasons for that thread:lol:

i hadnt been playing my 360 for a while, so i decided to resubscribe to gamefly, first they sent a game that was on my list but way down in the 20's, so it was like a week and a half or so before i actually got a game i wanted to play, and when i finally got it, my 360 decided to give me the ring of death.

has anyone else had any worse luck?

Microsoft doesnt comment when ownage is in order. I happen to be one of those people who are on there 7th console. I can say that mine has always had adequate breathing room, always plugged into the wall never a surge protector, always clean, never dusty, I have done everything except suspend it in mid air.

This interview just shows how bad MS really is. Question dodging FTW! Only reason MS is still in the lead is the fact the other 2 consoles have no games, hardware wise they run circles around the 360, I know I have had all of them. I kept my "other" console on for over a week straight folding@home, then played Obliivon, and didnt have one flashing poly, glitch, freeze or anything.

As much as I love my 360 this is getting redicules. My 7th console as of this week has started to give many MANY disc read errors. Games are in perfect condition, as is the console, yet now #7 is getting disc read errors? WTF? Iam so sick of this crap. Its a shame that MS has so many good games coming on such a crap console......thats the only reason I dont can it....its a catch 22. If you wanna play games, you gotta have a 360.
