I would say go with Meteos and one of the Pokemon games.

Also, if I could make a suggestion that's not on the list, I would suggest Puzzle Quest. Despite what some people have said, it's really easy to play on the DS, and if you're looking for something that has great depth and strategy, go with this game!

So, I've been thinking about getting a new DS game, and I've got my mind set on either Chocobo Tales or Puzzle Quest. I'm not 100% certain which one I want, so I guess I'll ask you all some questions about both

1. How difficult is Puzzle Quest? I have heard it is back-breakingly hard. I don't mind a challenge, but I don't want to attempt the same enemy 4,245 times before I can get to the next level.

2. Also in Puzzle Quest, how much depth is there? I've heard there's a lot, but how many hours of gameplay would you all guess I could get out of the game?

3. On to Chocobo Tales. How good is the card battle game, is it deep enough to just play it, or is the game mostly about the minigames?

Project Gotham 3 is pretty good, but you may just want to wait until Forza comes out if you want a racing game

I rented it earlier today and I'll have to say I'm beginning to agree with the review.

I mean, the graphics are pretty amazing for Spider-Man, but the human models look weird to say the least. Tobey Maguire's eyes are bugged out like he's looking for a fix. Swinging around the city is pretty awesome, and the first time you barrel through Times Square, you'll understand that the web-swinging was the obvious focus of the developers. When you're fighting, that's where things start to fall apart. You're limited to just a few attacks, most of which send the camera spinning wildly as it tries to stay behind you.

Ahh, the camera, this is the reason the game is not that great. You simply can never figure out where you are. There's a mission where you're supposed to follow a helicopter early in the game, and I just had no idea where the hell I was going. The camera is hugely problematic, and when you couple that with the fact that the fighting is limp, the game begins to fray at the edges.

The game is probably worth a rent, just for the amazing model of Spider-Man and the web-swinging alone, but I would really advise against buying the game

So...are we ever going to see it? MS said it would be released sometime in April and...well, it's May now and I haven't heard a single thing about it since late March. Anybody know what's going on?

Yeah, I've been waiting for any kind of news about the Forza 2 demo...there was a lot of buzz around it in March, but it's like everybody all the sudden forgot about it

I would say give Pokemon a chance, really. Under the candy coating, there's actually a fairly deep RPG that will eat up tons of your time.

I never considered myself a "Pokemon person" either, I hadn't played the games since the originals came out for the Game Boy (yes, the black and white one) but I picked up Diamond this weekend and I've been absolutely taken in by how deep the game actually is. I think if you want the premiere RPG for the DS, you should look into Pokemon

So, I'm unclear how many Pokemon are actually in these games. I've heard around 150, I've heard close to 500. Can somebody please explain?

if it only happened once, there's probably nothing at all to worry about. If you notice a problem developing where that portion of the screen is discolored or something, you might want to send it back

[QUOTE="MDDichard07"]i had the same problem. the key is to back up as far as you can on the runway and retract the wheels literally seconds after taking off, it takes a few trys but you'll get it right.dj_pulserfan
Do what he said, but keep yourself steady believe me theres no easy way to pass this mission.

Did it the second time I tried it after I lifted the landing gear...damn landing gear :)
