I'd recommend the PS3. It meets more of your points than the Wii does.

The Sonic series, the new games are alright, but Sonic hasn't been as awsome since the dreamcast and genisis games.

What makes you think the PS3 will last 10 years?SpinoRaptor24

Sony has a policy that they support consoles in a 10 year cycle. Thats why PS2 is still being supported.

I was wondering for the people who debate which of these consoles comes out on top in this generation what is the time restriction

What I mean is PS3 is being supported for 10 years, the xbox 360 may or may not be supported for this long. If in say 2011 the new Xbox is released and the 360 is still beating the PS3, and Microsoft stopped supporting the 360 soon after and the PS3 overtook the 360 in sales in say 2014 does Sony win? I guss the issue is when a generation technically ends and the "next gen" begins. I know Microsoft is claiming they will beat PS3 this gen, do they mean overall in unit sales or just having a lead until their new console is realeased. Do you think Microsoft will support the 360 for ten full years?

Sorry this is a random question, but hey I'm bored from studying for exams.

I'd recommend Uncharted, but if your looking for multiplayer than I'd go with Call of Duty 4 modern warfare.

These two games are both awsome and the cheapest two, so they have great value.

The CIS football playoff system is fine. I mean the western game was fairly close 28 - 12 (score doesn't tell the whole story, it was a pretty good game). Last years Vanier cup was a close score, this year may be different, but its more the fact that Laval is just an amazing team. Its been like that for the season, it happens once and awhile that a team is really really good.

Nevertheless I believe Western may surprise people and win....GO WESTERN (okay I might be a tad bias in my prediction...lol)

While Killzone 2 does look amazing I am more interested in Resistance 2 simply for the story. I have played Killzone and Killzone liberation, the story is good, but I feel Resistance is better.

The online for both will be amazing. I may purchase Killzone 2, but 'm not sure I will buy two shooters in the span of 4 months.

I think this is a good idea, that NBA rule is just stupid. I believe the biggest reason it was put in place was due to pressure by NCAA. Too many talented highschoolers were going to the NBA and getting picked higher in the draft then NCAA players. thus NCAA was seen as not important by most really talented players, so they make this rule to save NCAA.....just plain stupid and unfair to high talented high school palyers.

I know that this rule hasn't "saved" the NCAA, it was never threatened, but this rule just ensured NCAA got to have all the talented players for a year, when the kids should a have should have the right to choose where they want to go.

what I always found stupid about the NBA playoff format is how the second round is set up. In the NHl playoffs the highest second round seed plays the lowest second round seed in the conference. (example 1st place in the NHl playoffs in the eastern conference this year(montreal) played the 6th place team (Philedphia). In NBA for some reason the second place team automatically plays the 6 or 3rd seed. this punishes the first palce seed

a good example 2007 ndba playoffs 2nd place phoenix played 3rd place san antonio last year.......meanwhile 4th place Utah got 8th place golden state...sorry but that is the dumbest format ever, that punishes the 2nd place team.
