thanks for the answers guys. I really do think brees is gonna get 40 - 45 tds probably. I wouldn't be surprised to see him make a run at the record.

he has 9. if he can average 3 tds a game for he last 14 games he'd have 42 tds + the 9 already = 51

its possible, but unlikey.. I certainly wonder how much longer he'll keep up this awsome pass attack.

Brees has 9 td passes so far.

I know its early, but does anyone else think Brees is going to chase this record this year. I think he'll break 40 and certainly is going to be talked about to break the record.

I was 10 - 6 last week...not great, but not too bad.

This week :

Minnesota over Detriot - adrian peterson will continue his dominate running performances. I still think detriot might make this a close game.

Tennessee over Houston- titans gain redemption after tough week 1 loss.

Jacksonville over Arizona - Jags had a decent game against the colts, another solid effort and they'll put the nfc champs at 0 - 2.

New Orleans over Philedphia - Saints offence win in a high scoring game

Oakland over Kansas City - raiders bounce back from tough week 1 loss.

New England over New York Jets - patriots got lucky week 1, this will be a close game, but new england will win. It'll be interesting to see how sanchez handles the patriots defense

Green Bay over Cincinnati - no comment

Washington over St Louis - redskins defense destroys rams offense

Atlanta over Carolina - I expect a better effort from panthers, but they'll still come up short.

Buffalo over Tampa Bay - Bills should rebound at home.

Seattle over San Francisco - gonna be a close game, but seahawks win.

San Diego over Baltimore -

Cleveland over Denver -

Pittsburgh over Chicago

Dallas over New Yorks Giants

Indianapolis over Miami

I ran out of things to say for the last few games....

I personally loved that game, thought it was a really good game to watch. Obviously the last five minutes was the major entartainment. As for Brady, I think he deserves some credit. I mean five minutes to go andmost people had counted the patriots out and he marched his team down to score. Then he did it again, even after the fumble recovery there was no gaurentee they would score. Be fair it takes a franchise qb to do what brady did, could others have doen that obviously, but quiet a few (i would go so far as to say at least half the NFL starters) could not.

Nevertheless I still feel the kickoff unit deserves the credit for stealing a game that the patriots had no business winning. Anyways I will agree that New england needs to work because they wont beat the steelers, giants or other superbowl contenders with that tpye of effort. However I feel its fair to say new england looked rusty not finishing drives (settlign for two fgs)and that the patriots will be a much stronger team in a few weeks.

Randy Moss gets my vote. hes got the record and he did very well last year with cassell as QB. Still remember that awsome last second td catch against the jets to put the game into OT....although they lost the game anyways.

second is Calvin Johnson.....great numbers seeing as he played with the lions.

As a bucs fan until I see how Josh Freeman turns out its hard to fully grade the draft. I'll go with a B.

I'm not really a lions fan, but I think they should have gone with Aaron Curry. Curry would've make a strong impact and they could've made a solid defense. I honestly think culpepper could've done well this season if they'd used their second first round pick on an o-lineman.

Stafford is a good qb, but its an awful lot to ask a rookie to turn around that franchise. Matt ryan and Joe flacco were rookies on teams that were much better than the lions when they started. But anyways all the best to stafford. I hope he does good, I hate to see busts.
