About on par with a decent person but definately my weakest skill of all the needed skills. Aiming and shooting is not what sniping is about oh no. A good sniper is not a good shot. He is just a person that knows how to use the sticky/auto aim.

I'd agree with you totally if you were talking about Halo 2.

But sniping is much, much more difficult in Halo 3. It isn't about sweep sniping the player anymore. If you watch players sniping in theatre mode, you'll see tools like sweep sniping (which I used to use a lot) don't really cut it anymore. It's reasons like this Halo 2 fanatics are annoyed with the new sniper, because they can't sweep, it's slower and as a result not the powerhouse it used to be.

Seems odd that although we saw a Brumak in actual 360 game, we can't fight it because of 'engine problems'. They did big creatures such as the corpser, I really don't understand what the problem is.

Oh well.

Read my above post. Gears is fun and all, but my god is it a bad overall multiplayer game. But it IS fun(when you get around the fact that its unbalanced and laggy).

The potential is definately there, but the glitches, lag and balance issues totally kill the multiplayer. You can tell it was added at the last moment.

I think think Gears 2 will have a much better multiplayer game though.

Gears of War should be up there, although people who arent any good swear the game sucks.kevy619

The multiplayer in Gears of War sucks, those people are right. Buggy and unbalanced.

No you can't. If you deviate from the story path, like miss an event you completely lose out on the rest of the story! The game essentially stops if you can't follow the story path correctly. That's the problem with the game.

Not even true, you can choose to ditch the story completely and still do opther events in the game, and no the time limites were not short. Most of them are 3 hours long game time, which translates to 45 minutes in real time.

That's what I'm saying! If you ignore a story event, you completely lose the story. I've been doing other side events and had a story event coming up, and it's very difficult, even in 45 minutes to complete my event and get to a story event which can sometimes be right over the other side of the shopping centre.

The events and story element of the game is broken, you can't play the game in a fun way without being fussed about on necessary story quests.

I find it hard to understand how you've completely dismissed a console after playing on game. Demos are 4 minutes long? Well duh, they are demos. As for XBLA, it has some fantastic games on it, you should have a look at the titles you don't know about, XBLA is about unique titles and not just old emulated titles.

But fair enough, you're entitled to your own opinion.

Yea, maybe I was a bit too strong. It is still a very fun game, but the time limits do get in the way.
