[QUOTE="Raidea"][QUOTE="jechtshot78"][QUOTE="sonicare"][QUOTE="foxhound_fox"][QUOTE="Raidea"]The Dead Rising demo is a lot better than the real game. In the real game the actual story really gets in the way of the fun part of the game.jechtshot78
O RLY? That sucks. :(There is some truth to that. There are time limits to complete certain aspects of the game, and it can prevent you from just exploring and playing at your leisure.
Wrong, You dont even have to follow the story at all. You can run around killling zombies for 2 hours if you want. The game never contrains you to a time limit unless you want to complete the story, and even then the time limits are NOT short.
No you can't. If you deviate from the story path, like miss an event you completely lose out on the rest of the story! The game essentially stops if you can't follow the story path correctly. That's the problem with the game.
The time limits, to me, were very short.
Not even true, you can choose to ditch the story completely and still do opther events in the game, and no the time limites were not short. Most of them are 3 hours long game time, which translates to 45 minutes in real time.
That's what I'm saying! If you ignore a story event, you completely lose the story. I've been doing other side events and had a story event coming up, and it's very difficult, even in 45 minutes to complete my event and get to a story event which can sometimes be right over the other side of the shopping centre.
The events and story element of the game is broken, you can't play the game in a fun way without being fussed about on necessary story quests.
