I've played the Dead Rising demo perhaps 30 times at a friends house. It is so much fun. Get DR, the replay value is stupendous.foxhound_fox

The Dead Rising demo is a lot better than the real game. In the real game the actual story really gets in the way of the fun part of the game.

Why do you people have to constantly make new accounts over and over again? Can't you just stick with being banned?

That's good, hopefully it can take the lead again.1vgfan

It won't ever take the lead again, mark my words.

Though it probably will keep a decent lead over the PS3 for a long while to come.

The most popular genre will churn out games, it's as simple as that. It happened in the Mario era, the JRPG era, it happened in the GTA era and now it's happening with shooters.

Like music, it will phase out and in, if you don't like the genre then tough luck, this is what happens with mainstream culture.

One thing I will say though, is we are currently at the peak of the shooter genre fad, and I think it will now start to decline and we'll have increasing amounts of party and non-games with the popularity of the Wii and DS.

[QUOTE="Gangans"]

Bioware should have focused their energies on what they are good at, story, gameplay, memorable characters and development of said characters along with many interesting moral choices present in the game.

Als they focused on TEH GRAPHICX EGINEZ :cry:

You can never have too much of something.

Your real question should be, "Do you think the amount of shooting games coming out is affecting the amount of good games in other genres?"

So they can't focus on both?

You have no idea. In fact, you pretty much summed up what's in the game!

Learning, huh -_-

Just kidding, I can swing it.

For pure, dumb pick-up and play. Dead Rising.

For the whole experience, and a fantastic time if you are willing to put the effort in, Ninja Gaiden.
