I never buy such over-priced retro titles from shops. Look online and you'll almost always find some one selling the game game for a far cheaper price.

first off, there are tons of problems with the wii, and control is just the tip of the iceburg

storage

processing power

visuals

networking

library

to name a few. also, this IS new technology, the fact that there hasnt been a game yet that has had 100 percent responsive controls tells u that 9 out of 10 is pretty damn good. not broken. also this brings up another subject, wii motion plus. im not saying that this new perifferal will guaranttee 100%, but it should help and add more immersion to the gameplay. (provided that devs take advantage, or even if nintendo gave them the opprtunity to).

Those may be flaws in your eyes, but not in mine. I grew up playing great games that required very little of the above.

At the end of the day, developers are always going to be lazy in one respect or another. Time contraints, budgets, or graphical polish means controls on Wii games are likely to suffer. However, it's new technology and soon enough games will be getting it right more often than not. It was the same with the DS until western developers had got past the basic gimmick controls.

The limit beak system was actually flawed. Once your character's health was low enough to enable it, if it didn't appear first time, keep switching between characters without making an attack and it would quickly appear. This meant, for me at least, it was always good practice to fight with low health.

Well the main problem there is that Nintendo are aware that complete stangers share friend codes with each other, and so if abuse were to be exchanged, Nintendo would fear many parents, oblivious to the situation, will try to sue them as a result. So perhaps that's why wifi was never considered. Had wifi been included though, you'd still need the keyboard as some people have terrible writing already, excluding the fact that it's pretty hard to write neatly on the DS screen already. Voice chat would have been welcome, but I have no idea of what the quality would be like as i've not tried it on Metroid Prime Hunters.

I think some people have already forgotten that there was never going to be a Metroid Prime 4, even if the current employment scenario had never happened. For what it's worth though, the Metroid Prime series was awesome. Especially the first and third games. They're classics in my eyes.

Just read your review. You should really consider altering it as there is already a message on the community page that discusses the User Review Policy. As well as lacking depth, your review isn't helpful to anyone at all. You critisize the game, but offer little reasoning as to why that is and then you just spam to fill the 100 word count limit. That isn't a review, that's just some one venting fustration.

I have to admit, it's wasn't even the most challenging game in its day. Games these days must be far too easy if people can struggle with NES platformers. How I miss the old days!
