[QUOTE="Raiko101"]It would be odd to call it Generations and strictly have 2D gameplay. I suspect a lot of the game is not yet in a playable form and so there wont be any 3D style gameplay on show for a while.lordlors
November is already near so i suspect this 3ds version will be rushed if that's the case.

Maybe, but if they're able to downsize assets from the console versions of the game and port them across, they might be able to put it all together quite quickly.

There was mention of the Game Gear and one other console a few months ago.

1 controller is plenty enough. I doubt there'll be many benefits for 4 of those controllers anyhow. You might as well just play split screen.

[QUOTE="Raiko101"][QUOTE="pills4louis"]

Too on-rails for a true-to-roots Sonic game. Here's hoping they remove that horrible Sonic 4 homing attack, too...

The homing attack is the best thing about Sonic 4. It allows you to chain together air kills, which I really enjoyed. Unlike the stupidly sluggish movement and compete ac of momentum from the spin dash.

So basically, no more skill involved to chain your air kills? NOPE.avi

Not sure what you're getting at there. As much as I like the old jumping system, I prefer the homing attack.

Anyone who 'digs' mature games doesn't mature enough to be playing them in the first place. ;)

It's a great example of a poor online service from Nintendo. Your account should have registered licences, allowing you to re-download games you've purchased in the past, on other consoles

[QUOTE="Raiko101"]I think they'll be holding back on the DSi version until the retail one hits the shelves. Just a guess though.dzimm

Nope. The DSi version is available in the eshop. I went ahead and bought it because it's essentailly the same game as the upcoming one, and it's $30 cheaper.

We're talking about PAL regions here. I was lead to believe that we never got it on the DSi, unless i'm very much mistaken. If we don't have it now, I reckon we wont do until after the release of the 3D Cave Story.

I think it looks ok. Looks like an early build though. There's still some pop up in there too. However, I have high hopes for this. Sonic Colours was much better than Sonic 4, even with the gimmicky colours. This sounds like it'll play much like Sonic Colours, just with the gimmick. Just what we've been asking for these past 10+ years.
