I can't think of one real reason to justify a DSi exclusive of Animal Crossing. Well actually downloadable furniture and items would be ok, but beyond that it's pretty much pointless...

* Its story. Not much have been revealed, but take a look at Gears or Halo (example) . Those games don't have deep stories, but the Conduit does. The Conduit has conspiracies and twists unlike the two titles that I mentioned.Pices
Not much has been revealed you know it has a deeper story than either Halo or Gears of War?
* The Weapons are completely original. For instance, the Shrieker, wherever you shoot, you actually aim where the fireshot goes like a homing missile. The Deamtizer (the blue gun) , you could twist the Wiimote so that you can change the angle where the two different bolts fly. If one bolt hits a corner, it can bounce off. Completely original, not have been done before. A.S.E , that was not done before.Pices
The first gun sounds like the Needler in Halo and the second sounds like the Ripper in Unreal Tournament, except it shoots two projectiles instead of one.
* Its on the Wii !! Well, because of the controls. They are amazing, look at hands-on previews. Completely cuztomizable controls, change cursor sensitivity, change turning speed, running speed, take huds off or make them transparent and adjust the dead-zone size. There is no FPS that has ALL these things.Pices
How does this make the game feel less generic? We all know the only reason this game is getting the attention it is, is because it's on the Wii. Imagine if you saw this game with improved graphics on the 360 or PS3. Could you really see those gamers getting excited about this next to Halo, Gears of War, Killzone and Modern Warfare? Unlikely...

Nah, i'm going to go with these_nuts and say the game is pretty repetitive. That's not to say it isn't fun, but once through on the 360 was enough.

You should not that the DS needs 2 hours at the most to recharge so effectively it's like keeping a phone charger plugged into the wall without a phone on the end. You're draining up electricity needlessly. Anyways, I wouldn't have thought this would have any effect on your DS.

[QUOTE="muthsera666"][QUOTE="RK-Mara"][QUOTE="muthsera666"] If it's fun, I'll play an average game!

Then the game doesn't sound very average.

Most games are fun, ergo the average game is fun.

I was going to say the same thing!

To skip 3 pages and summarise the quotations in the first post. "You can either make some random turd for the Wii, in which you didn't invest any time or money so the game features tagged on waggling and pointing, which enevitably wont sell as well as you'd hoped for. Or you can continue to spurt out unimagintive Sci-fi shoot 'em ups and fantasy Role Players on the other two consoles and please a fanbase that fears change. At least you'll have a million seller on your hands."

Ok it would be a pretty unfair to suggest 360 and PS3 owners are boring and all playing the same sorts of games. I for one am not. However it's a fair point considering the majority of games that are released these days. I think developers are lazy and just looking to squeeze as much money as they can from a market growing desperate for something a little more daring and refreshing. Something the Wii at least tried to encourage...

Feel free to ignore this post!

I had a similar dream many years ago and it was horrible. I dreamt I had been bought a Dreamcast with tons of games. I remember packing it away and putting it under my bed before waking up and realising it was all a dream. I was only 12. I almost cried...

The PAL Final Fantasy cases are the best. Well they're the same as the Japanese covers I think, but still they're great.

I never buy old games from a gameshop or someone who knows what they're selling. Why? Because they know how much it's worth. I get all my retro games from Car Boot Sales or eBay. One example being Mystic Quest Legend on the SNES. I bought it, boxed, for 4 GBP. No idea of it's original value but you wont find too many boxed SNES RPGs for that price.
