@CCGR_Pheonix @yourdem1ze Indeed. Steam is becoming the standard now whether you buy it from the Steam marketplace or a website like GameFly or Amazon. So don't limit yourself to Steam's sales alone. Sites like greenmangaming and GamersGate have excellent sales, not to mention the Humble Bundles.

Make sure to use the coupon code "GFDSEP20." Will drop a game like Bioshock Infinite from $13.59 to $10.50.

Oh my gosh, you guys are a disgusting excuse of a human being. Great review Carolyn, I just can't believe the things Gamespot users feel it's completely okay to say on the internet. According to them we should live in a black and white world where opinions aren't accepted.

Wow, sucks being a writer and someone beats you to an idea. God damn. I'm sure it all pans out completely different, but damn.

Well then, not much reason to get 6 then. By the time I would be done collecting the cars, the next game would release.

This probably has to do with supply. They kept insisting on unlimited pre-orders while the demand was ridiculously high. I guess they might have took the supply originally planned for Japan and used that to satisfy pre-orders in the NA and EU regions.

A shame that choice made Xbox 360 owners miss out on such a great game. I wouldn't necessarily blame Microsoft for such a decision considering how often video games are blamed for crimes. They played it safe while Sony took the risk and it turned out well. I'm just glad both didn't turn it down.

I usually have restraint when it comes to free to play games, but when it comes to sales on games themselves I have a tough time not giving in. With the recent pre-order bonus for GTA5 on PSN giving 75% off Rockstar titles, I found myself buying Red Dead Redemption, L.A. Noire, and Max Payne 3 even though I own them physically or on PC. Steam has been the biggest temptation for me though with it's holiday sales. The very first Steam sale drained hundreds from my wallet and I still feel guilty about it to this day.

Hardcore gamers like to think the gaming market is aimed towards them or at least should be. I mean we're the ones that were there when it started so that automatically makes us important, right? New generations will come and the casual and softcore audience has become larger than ever, so not everything will appeal to the hardcore gamer. Companies are trying to make these magnificent games but of course you need money for that. The hardcore audience alone won't cover that so they extend their reach out to the softcore and casual. They try to make all three groups happy at the same time but you got the hardcore gamers being b*tchy as ever. We like to think we know how running a business works when we actually really don't. Decisions like this aren't made on the fly, they really have to think hard on their decisions because the company's livelihood is on the line.

I believe I saw this listed months ago. Doesn't sound too bad if you're just going to replace the hard drive anyways.
