Before you buy a new psu check your current one.

look at the sticker on the side of the psu

as long as you got like 28a or 30a+ on the +12v you will be ok,

your system looks like its pretty new and the stock psu might be fine.

If its anything like the core 2 and you can get a 100% overclock out of it then it's well worth it,

some new games only run at 15-20 fps on even the fastest computers,so overclocking is worth it.

Even with vista, no drivers, some people say it's broken and will never have proper dx10 drivers

The worst part with 8800 / 8600 is it says DX10,  but no dx10 drivers.

I spent $50 on a second 1g mem stick (2gb total), the whole computer seems more responsive and runs smoother, it's not a huge difference but i think it's worth the $50

I never tried 1.5gb so i cant say

If you have a intel core 2 duo processor upgrading to a better video card would be worth it.

Anything else (even x2 athlon) you will be dissapointed in the amount you spent for the performance gain.

(is $300 really worth 10fps in a video game)

Go to control panel /system /

advance tab,

startup and recovey "settings" button

uncheck "automatically restart" in system failure

This is probably due to bad drivers, (video&mobo)
