Considering Kinect was released just at Christmas 2010, and there are only few titles for it - you can bet that the Xbox will run into 2013/2014. Hardly groundbreaking news, everyone knew this generation was going to be long.

Well thats good for you but for me personally and my experience with the 4 series in Xfire I was extremely dissapointed. I know however that the newer cards scale better but thats not to say I still didnt have the best of times with Xfire, I would pick a single GPU over 2 weaker ones in Xfire anyday.[QUOTE="V4LENT1NE"][QUOTE="Alienware_fan"]It does 98% of the time for me though.

problem with going single card is the performance per dollar is much lower once you go past a certain point. For example right now its undeniable the 580 gtx is the strongest single card out there. Lets say the 580 gtx is 100% performance, then the 6970 is 91% performance of the 580gtx but costs $200 less than a 580 gtx. A 570 gtx is around 91% as well and you get it for $200 less. Then there is the 6950 2gb which is like 83% performance but costs $250 less. So technically you can buy 2X 6950 2gb radeon cards for the same price as a 580 gtx but get 166% percent max possibleperformance compared to the 580 gtx. I don't know about you but 166% >> 100% I realize there are some games that don't have perfect scaling but still chances are the crossfire setup will still give better performance than the 580gtx.
Crossfire doesn't work like that. Having 2x a 6950 for example will not give you the performance of TWO 6950 cards, its just a better performance than one card, but it's not double and it's not even close to double.Batman: Arkham Asylum is fun, and it's really cheap. It's not that demanding either, so you should be able to run it.
I'm incredibly tempted to pick one up on release, but in the past with this gen of MMO's - every timeI do this I seem to waste money. (Age of Conan, Warhammer) - All picked up day 1, yet ended subscription within in the first month.
For me, it does look promising but I think for this one I'll hold onto my guns and give it a while for reviews etc before picking it up.
Really, really hope that they don't screw this one up though.
I also hope it's not just World of Warcraft in space.
Yet another clone jumping on the 'Lets hate DA2' bandwagon. It wasn't good in comparison to the first, people's expectations were too high. Overall it wasn't bad. Don't over exaggerate. No great loss. DA2 is one of the worst games I have ever played. Seriously, everyone involved with that game should lose his or her job.

What the hell are we going to use 8 cores for? isn't 4 or 6 enough? I think 4 is plenty.katana_duoVideo and photo editors would use them for rendering etc. Also you gotta look at it in a futuristic point, considering most games are using 4 cores NOW. It's only a matter of time before hexacores become the 'standard' amount for games and so on.
Hey friends.
I'm thinking about purchasing the Turtle Beach X11's for my PC.
I know these are primarily for Xbox 360, however they are said to be compatible with the PC aswell
I would like to hear if and how you guys feel about these headphones for the PC & if they are worth buying.
Please don't consider the price on your desicion, I just want to know exactly how the product feels.
Thank you.
This is why you should have bought it on steam, it was on sale y'day! As too your question, I don't think there is a way to avoid putting the disk in. Don't quote me on this, but I believe if you have "EA Download Manager" you may able to input your game serial number and download it from there, however i'm not too sure on this.i just bought dragon age origins today and i installed it.. i took the disc out and launched it but the game requires the cd ... is it possible to not keep the cd in for playing? like warcraft or starcraft?
