6950's a real nice card, and compared to the 5770 it would be a huge upgrade. The CPU would be a nice upgrade aswell I guess.

Tbh, the graphics cards mentioned above will give you around 30-40 FPS when you on your own on ultra, but if you're in crowded areas like citys/raiding, you'll easily drop down to >10. I use a GTX 460 and I still go down to 20 FPS on Ultra, even with Shadows on High rather than ultra whilst raiding..

None of those computers will sniff ultra that you mentioned, they'd be lucky to be decent on medium.

ionusX

sub 1080p ahahah i lolled

on a similar system i was playing WoW amd getting 45fps + while raiding 25 mans on high fukll aa and af

and outside of raids even in towns i was hitting 40-60fps on maxed out settings no matter where i went (omitting outlands but outlands is bad anyway)

if your wondering those results were taken from ICC & ulduar at various points in time ..even during boss fights

If you're referring to my signature, I think you'll find I was pointing out that my Monitor is 1080p, not the resolution I play in. Also, the video was made in 2008 before Cataclysm. I don't think I need to proceed..I'd love to see you get the same now. I play WoW now, and that is the FPS I get I wasn't just pulling numbers out of my arse.

Also, learn to type.

Richard_The_Gr8

As I wasn't sure about this H67 business, I found the same MOBO you're looking for but £35 cheaper.. Amazon.

For the same price range of that Motherboard, you can get much better models which will make it even more future proof..

It's not actually that hard.

Use courtesans etc to try and make your way to the other side of the party where the benches are and sit down. There may be a slight second where a guard gets a yellow marker over his head whilst you're trying to get there, just run to the bench asap and it will dissapear.

Once you're at the bench just stay seated, you'll be undetected and the target will walk past you, just assassinate when he's in your assassination radius, done.

i was worried about that aswell but its part of a bundle with the ram, its a pre-built plug and play mobo/ram/cpu bundle so i cant see them putting it together and advertising it if it doesent work,i might phone them before i order though. @ionusx - so let me get this straight , motherboards at low end arent all that different from say mid-high end feature/performance wise right now? cheers for the help guys, cant wait to play some new games, last pc i had was equiped with a radeon 9200se and a mammoth 512 mb of ram, so you can imagine the difference this is going to make.

EDIT: yeah it says 1333+ so i think that means anything above 1333 ,but i could be wrong

pmurph13
It does say 1333+, but that would imply it can support 1800mhz RAM or 2000mhz RAM which i'm pretty confident it can't.

Hey guys, as it says in the title i order next week and i wanted to check a couple of things here, first of all here is the specs.

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2

CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 840 "95W Edition" 3.20GHz

GPU: Sapphire ATI Radeon HD6950 2048mb

RAM: Corsair XMS3 2x2gb 1600mhz ddr3

PSU: Antec Truepower New modular 750w power supply

Now my first question is this, is the motherboard ok? i know it only has two ram slots for a max 8gb but thats probobly the most i would ever get before a future upgrade with new motherboard anyway, i dont want to skimp but it seems alright for what i'm building, plus the ram/mobo/cpu is in a bundle for a great price(cpu pre-overclocked to 3.80ghz aswell)

My second question is about cases , i was pretty much set on the antec 902 but im trying to bring the cost's down a little without compromising too much, im now looking at the antec dark fleet df10 if anyone has any suggestions on a case preferably under £70 then i would appreciate you're advice, thanks guys.

PS.what do you think of this build? my monitor is pretty small so i wont be playing at huge resolutions either so bear that in mind. cheers!

pmurph13

I just had a quick look on your MOBO from the gigabyte website, and it looks like the max mhz of ram is supports is 1333mhz, so you might not able to use the 1600.

I might be wrong so have a look yourself here.
