@Theo1971: holy cow, you actually do not know anything about this game do you? literally nothing you say makes sense. you sound like someone who read some story details online.

- obviously you kill the dogs, because they are trying to kill you and it's about survival. Alice's death hurt i have to admit though, but they way it hurts is beautifully crafted (you only realize you killed her 20 hours later).

- after Ellie finds out she killed a pregnant woman, she gets sick, traumatized and is ready to go home afterwards. you make it sound like it had no impact whatsoever on her.

- not sure Ghandi is all about bringing a knife to a brawl, fight an almost defenseless person until she gives up and then drown her, only to let go at the last moment. doesn't sound super chill and peaceful to me to be honest.

i'm very glad i didn't have to kill abby in the end. it would have just been too dark. when the "strike" prompt appeared all i could think was "don't make me do this please!". i'm very happy with the way the ending turned out. i'm glad this has become the final version.

@esqueejy: i would be all for numberfree reviews, but it's never going to happen. look how much conversation it starts. also i assume none of the hip youngsters would click on a review without a number. let's be real here.

what matters is how much you care about these reviews. i had games i was really excited for being rated with a 5/10, and i still got them and loved them after playing (examples RE:ORC, NG Razor's Edge). maybe that's why i care less about it. reviews will never prevent me from getting a game i'm excited for. all reviews can do for me is make me more or less excited for games i'm on the edge about. i wonder how many people missed out on the brilliant last of us 2, because of all these loudmouths not being able to understand a mature story. but that's their problem, not mine. but i do sometimes see it as my prerogative to make fun of people being influenced so easily.

@der_freischutz: i am making fun of the general fact that these numbers are important to these people. das darfst du ruhig als kindisch ansehen, Herr Freischütz, ist es vielleicht auch, aber das diese Zahlen so wichtig sind finde ich halt witzig.

@Destructionzz: the thing is if you do like the last of us it is a pretty awesome time sink. re3 was short, but it had some cool difficulty setting, and you can spend some time doing no-box runs, s-rank on nightmare without special weapons, if you are really into it. and there's the MP, that's fun with friends.

i do get you though, sometimes i don't know what to play either. i bought Mk11 a few weeks back, which i really like, and it's always good for a couple of hours through the week. me and some friends also played alienation for a couple of weeks (it was free on ps+ some time ago).

next game i want to buy? i honestly don't know. elden ring, but when is that coming?

i understand. both movies are almost equally awesome and they are by far the best Marvel movies (for me at least, but like faaaaaaaaaaar until at some point we are at first avenger, which i also liked). ending on a high note is a good idea in my book.

so to summarize:

this is a bad review, because the reviewer formed his own opinion (how dare he, the little rebel?!) instead of taking the average number of other reviews on the net, of which the latter is well-known to be the only acceptable and honest way to review a game.

this was the last drop for me. i am so done with this site! in the future i will only come here to comment that i don't visit the site anymore, to make sure that everyone knows that i'm not using this site anymore, which is important information. haha, take that gamespot! more like lamespot, am i right? am i right?
