Console- I can sit back and relax on my couch while playing on a big screen tv with surround. It just feels more covenient, and when I have friends over we can play split screen and co-op which you cant do with a PC sadly.

If you can get someone to show you how to build a computer in person, you can learn how to do it yourself in ahour or two if you pay attention. It really is easy, its like putting the circle block in the O. When it comes down to the software part though like installing the proper drivers, and seeing if the hardware is compatible, that may bea wee bit hard for people, but it only takes a bit of research on the internet. But when you build your first awesome PC you'll love it because you'll then realize what awesome games games you can play and how smooth it runs, and on top of that you have emulators, access to a crap load of media that will play well, and more.

360, you can play most xbox games on it, but XBL gold is a MUST. If you dont plan on getting xbl, then go with a pc

There are a lot of games for 360 that are still good whether one has Live or not.

Yeah they are good, but without live it kind of leaves out a good deal of replay value of the game as well as a fun experience, thats just my opinion though. You can play some of them on the PC too, and the games you have you can play online for free. A PC would be a better investment though because of the other stuff you can do with it besides gaming. Not to mention the PC has emulators and stuff, but I wont go into detail about that :P.

But still the 360 should the first choice anyway.

I would vote for both 1 & 2. I'm enjoying my 360 a lot and dont see any reason to buy the ps3 yet. I rather wait 2-3 years for the price to go down then buy it. And by that time there should be a good amount of good games out, so I would actually spend a lot of time on it.

[QUOTE="EnigmaticBeauty"]Sony's online won't be free forever. Once they're set up, they'll charge the same price that Microsoft charges. That is a fact, cause Sony sees that people don't mind paying to play online.Thomas4

How does that make it a fact. Just because Sony sees that Microsoft is making an easy buck off Xbox Live user's doesn't mean Sony is going to charge for their service. Son'y's on-line is free and I don't see that changing. Sorry but your facts arn't supported... you've just assumed that Sony will charge a price because Microsoft does which is false. I'm sure Sony sees the benefits of leaving their service free.

Everyone watches each other. Microsoft started the Xbox Live Arcade and people were paying to download the old retro style games. Nintendo and Sony have followed suit with their consoles... Now people don't mind paying 50 dollars a year for Xbox Live and once Sony catch up and get their systems in order, they will start charging for their Online Service, because there is money to be made and people will not mind paying for it, because Xbox Live proves that.

Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony milk the gamer for absolutely everything they can. That's the nature of business, get what you can get. Look at the new vibrating duel shock being released... and the original poor saps who bought their PS3 on day one have to go out and buy themselves a vibrating controller if they want one.

It's only a matter of time before Sony start charging for online play, especially as the numbers rise and the service costs more to maintain.

finally some one that understands buisness well said.

It was well said and believe me I understand that all three companies are after money but there is logic behind not charging for on-line service as a means to outsell the competition as far as consoles go... and if you sell more consoles then you also sell more accessories and overall it's better for business and associates. While I do agree they could charge I don't think neither you or I have access to the information and facts that would actually see what would be more beneficial in the long run... but as for now the PSN is free and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

If you want to talk about the logic behind charging nothing for PSN, heres one: Remember in 1999 Netzero was a ISP that gave its services for free? Well in 2001 after they accumulated a lot of customers they started charging people who spent over 40 hours on the internet a fee. Just a theory but sony may do the same thing. Attract tons of customers with the free service (who can resist something thats free?), then later when they become acustomed to it and like it, smack them with a fee. Chances are they will since they been with it for a while and want to keep it.

Sorry, I'm brushing up on my nOOb. Blame your internet connection and location people!
