That is the highest resolution my monitor will support, so I can only play games like Crysis at no more than 1200 x 1600
I want to buy a new graphics card, but I do not want to pay for more than I currently can support or need, so what is the best I can buy for my needs. Price not a factor, I just dont want to get uneeded abilities since my resolution can only max out at
1200 x 1600.
I would suggest Loco Roco, Gurumin, or Tokobot. All fun games, with cute graphics that your kids might enjoy watching.
All 3 are good games too, except camera gets a little wonky in Gurumin.

Im older and reflexes are slower, I can compete on FPS shooters as well as I use too. But Im great at being a sneaky backstabber. Take that Steam account and grab TF2, you can be a spy and you wont have to worry about your shooting skills. Flame thrower is pretty easy too for a non FPS pro.

Games are fine, its you that has changed. Your older I suspect and you have played years and years worth of games, so nothing can surprise or entertain as much as it use too. The same thing happens for music and movies. I have been playing games for 33 years now, and I somtimes feel the same way as you. Ususally what helps is to take a break and also not go in with high expectations. Last great game I played was Portal like everyone else. And now I dont know what to play or buy next...looking at Super Mario for my Wii. Or maybe Witcher.

I just finished Jeanne D'Arc and I even played for the secrets post game. The game was addictive, had a great story, fun graphics. And lots of customization. I really enjoyed it. So I figured I would like Disgea, am I missing something. It controls weird, I have trouble moving around on the maps with the controller, never quite knowing what direction the square is going to move. And then when I place a character, I cant fight until I hit execute and I cant go to a character automatically after placing each one, I have to go back to the original spot by moving with the controller and recpick from a menu. It seems slow and very cumbersome compared to Jeanne D'Arc. WasI already spoiled by the best SRPG and now nothing else is good anymore? I want to enjoy this game so bad, should I just keep going..does it get bette? Did anyone else have problems with the control?

Well, in answer to your original question. I think you are just feeling some burnout, I have been playing games for the last 30 years and I have seen so many different games, but lately many that feel the same. When you play so many, you will get more objective about what you are playing plus get burned out. I quit playing for about the last 8 months after conquering FEAR, HALF LIFE 2 and playing lots of WOW. I started playing online Poker and watching more TV.
Now I am back again trying out COH, BIOSHOCK and looking forward to TF2.
Just take a break for a while then you will find that gaming passion you had once before.

You get the whole thing on steam to download and if you want, you can store them on your own dvd's when Orange Box is officially released.the_ChEeSe_mAn2
So, when it is realeased, you log back into Steam, and then and only then you can download what you pre-paid for today? It seems like there will be many downloads all happening on Oct 10. Thanks for the answers.

I have never got any games through Steam, only time I ever used my account was to play HalfLife 2. I have uninstalled it since then. If I reinstall STEAM to pre-purchase the orange box. Do I still get the beta of TF2 as a download and the rest sent to my home as a retail box. Or is everything in the box downloaded from STEAM and I have to make my own CD's or store on PC.
Sorry for my ignorance
