@Random_Matt I think they'd need to focus on retro game sales.

@Dreamcast86 @Redblaze27 I "think" EA is smarter than that. I believe they are doing a test by having one DRM ridden version of a game sell against a clean version to collect sales data.

Its at least what they'd do if they were kinda smart.

@C_A_G_E @Redblaze27 Simple: don't buy those games.

At least its not a console-wide mandate.

"has confirmed that preowned titles will be supported on the PlayStation 4, but said decisions about activation fees will be left up to individual publishers."

That sounds pretty clear to me. Sony is leaving online pass garbage up to publishers like they did on PS3, no big deal.

@Super_Tramp @Redblaze27 The thing there is, they could release backwards compatibility as an optional app purchase, let people vote with their wallets...

Granted, nobody will buy it at this point though with all its other faults.

@SP151 I'm a multi-platform gamer and have always saw big faults in the Xbox 360. Don't get me wrong, at its core the thing is alright but Microsoft keeps making it worse over time.

Xbox One is the worst the 360 has to offer amplified exponentially and tied down by an Orwellian level of control.
