@oldcrusty: I agree wholeheartedly with everything in this comment. Somehow, the setting and feel of each Final Fantasy has been more or less the same from 12 onwards, even including the DS games. It's like they served their fans massive piles of brusselsprouts, and now they've made us eat the leftovers since 2006.
I honestly don't like perverseness in my games either, at least not until I can interact with the perverted sex objects directly. Otherwise I suddenly want to play with boobs at a moment when I might not be thinking about them and I am unable to satisfy that desire. It's incredibly inconvenient.
@Darkhol0w @RetryAgain I assumed there wouldn't even be an option to import games, but I could very easily be wrong about that. But yeah, hopefully our choices will matter rather than having mere easter eggs refering to decisions we made, but we can't expect too much of that.
@RoyialNetwork *looks over at you while shooting a lamp from the ceiling onto an oily floor, setting a group of draugr on fire* Nothing like it at all indeed.
That said, I completely agree with you, but I couldn't help being a smart-ass.
@ComplexConf @RetryAgain It's not the worst thing of all time. It's pretty small on my list of gripes. It just might kill the possible freedom of going through areas in different orders on subsequent playthroughs. Most people seem to like the idea of no scaling though, and if I'm in the minority, then great. Whatever makes the most people happy. (no sarcasm)
@Darkhol0w There's something called the Dragon's Keep or something like that. Basically, you just tell the game what you want it to think you've done in the past.
I think it'll be something like "Did you sleep with Morrigan?" with a checkbox by it or something.
@starjay009 @Darkhol0w Actually, from what I've seen, even the people who like Skyrim admit the combat is bland and unappealing. By the way, I love tactical combat where you pause every nanosecond. Stimulates the brain.
