A wonderful, thoughtful, and wise article. The gaming industry is going down. The release of the next gen of consoles is going to make things even tougher on devs. I hope we never see a PS5 if it destroys the heart and soul of all games that can appear on it.
A culture victory? So now there's two ways to win through culture, or does it only sound similar and is completely different from the Utopia project?
Also, I'm still kind of disappointed in the religion system from G&K. It's underpowered and you can always just take up someone else's religion, and making your own religion the best/fastest spreading is a drain on time and resources that doesn't feel worth it most of the time.
@eol_is @darius_danze That's what they'll do. You know it is, because it's too obvious and requires no creativity. That, or everyone is a warden fighting off waves of darkspawn, which would be even worse, because that would be copied directly from ME3.
@Sonic4545 I agree with your first statement. While I believe it is completely naive to think this game might come close to the greatness of the first, I will buy if it gets a 9 or over from users. Not gamespot/IGN or any other professional review site. I respect their opinion, but it just seems untrustworthy with this franchise considering the (IMO) too high scores for both DA2 and ME3.
A one hit killing machine for 10 seconds? I hope that's exaggeration. The one thing I loved about SSBB is that the supers made you very powerful, but weren't always a guaranteed kill. You could potentially survive them.
I've never played a point and click game that I can remember since I was like 5 playing Pajama Sam 2 (had to look it up), and I'm really interested in this type of game. This game looks like a great game to jump into, but I need an ending! So frustrating!
