You should definitely have a 1080p monitor, because the horsepower of the 780 will just be wasted away on a lower resolution.

The only reason to get SLI, is if you want to burn money.. Ive had SLI.., its not worth it.

You spend a shitton of money on GPUs, you have double the heat production, and power consumption. That you also have to dissapate...

And for what 50 to 75 percent more performance if youre lucky, and on next gen a single card beats you SLI...

Not worth it, that my 2 cents worth :P

Depends on your situation. For example, I have a HAF 922 with an additional side fan, so heat dissipation shouldn't be a problem. You generally get more performance for less money when you SLI.

Suspend him and then force the sell after the season.

The other owners will never want to set the precedent that you can force 1 of them to sell the team. They'll suspend him for a long time, but thats all.

I double this. TC get better or die.

Such a lovely bunch of guys....

Stupid questions get stupid (yet truthful) answers

What was so stupid about his question?

He asked if there was an advantage using 120Hz, and if that was the reason he wasn't doing good.

TC, here's a normal answer: There isn't really a big advantage of using 120hz, except the fact that everything flows smoother on your screen, so maybe sometimes you might see something off the corner of your eye but that's about it. Just keep playing and you'll get better. Also look up video guides on how to play.

The problem is that he was trying to imply he sucks at the game because his monitor isn't 120 Hz. Which is absurd in so many so ways. First, very few people out there have a monitor that goes above 60hz anyway. Secondly, thinking milliseconds of delay off his monitor when lag is obviously a big factor when playing online is what is getting him killed is just stupid. Thirdly, it's that same kind of sucker attitude that makes kids thinks they can become Michael Jordan by wearing Jordans. Everything about it is laughable.

This topic is really silly. Only gamers who actually get paid to compete would benefit from the faster response that 120hz can give. Nobody in your BF4 matches are killing you because of their 120hz monitors. You just suck.

Thanks for advise guys. Like knowing i7 4770k is like an 8 core.

i7 isnt like an 8 core its still a quad core, each 2nd thread on each core uses the left over cpu cycles not being use from the 1st thread. Unless the game or app are designed to use HT correctly your performance will just be like an i5.

Don't spew ignorance when you don't know.

Talking about ignorance? lol

An 8 core can handle 8 threads, an i7 4 core with HT can handle 8 threads. There is no practical differences. Get a clue.

OMG are you serious? lol ,

8 cores is 8 cores 4 cores is 4 cores having two threads per core does not equal more real cores nor does it automatically increase performance. Like I said earlier 2nd thread's processing power is dependent on the 1st thread's load.

If your going by AMD's results with their 8 core cpu's dont..... since their not true 8 core cpu's themselves, 4 modules with two integer processors per module. Just because i7's perform as well or better then AMD's FX 8's does not mean there's no practical differences when in fact an intel true 8 core cpu would cream an i7 quad with HT with apps and games.

Ivy Bridge-E which has 6 ''real'' cores doesn't outperform the i7 Haswell which has 4.
