It's fantastic how you do it. If the Cavs loses, you get to call Lebron a choker. If the Warriors loses, you get to call Curry a choker. You really figured out the sports fandom life didn't you.

Yes Lebron has choked in regulation many times. Kobe has more game winners and clutch shots then both of them put together.

No he doesn't fool, LeBron delivers more often than Kobe does. Kobe's just been doing it longer.

Also the fact you made this thread shows you do not watch the games. Curry was triple teamed to the point where Bogut was left wide open and delivered a monster 2 points all game. Thompson went off because his guy was busy doing the double on Curry while they both had help on top from the paint.

The Cavs whole plan was to take out Curry, much the way that teams would take out LeBron and make the rest of the team beat you.

This settles it, you don't know how basketball is played, you're content with "Look at the tall people with the orange!", that is the extent of your basketball knowledge.

Stop making excuses. There is a stat that showed Curry was 1 of 9 on uncontested shots. Stop making excuses bruh. He's not that good of a player. Live by the 3, die by the 3.

He's allowed to have a bad game. Just like Kobe in Game 7 of the 2010 finals. It doesn't diminish his greatness.

He will probably continue to choke as bad. His style is predictable and he is soft.

Your mother must have drank a lot of alcohol while you were in her belly.

Okay, do I need to remind you how Kobe played in Game 7 against Boston?

I wonder how much Mantle not being a success has cost them. Because it felt like they invested a lot of their hopes in that.

@RevanBITW: It's easy to look at box scores and stats to make that determination. And honestly, it's not your fault, you don't watch every Hawks game like I do. Trust me, there are very few QBs that would succeed with this team. This is an 8-8 team with most of the QBs you listed before.

Again, nobody can actually point out a flaw in his game. You say he's slightly above average. What makes him slightly above average? I don't care about the defense or the running game, tell me how he's only "slightly above average."

He's just not that good of a passer. His current numbers are good but not great and if he had less than a great running back these numbers would get worse.

@RevanBITW: How did last Sunday show he's not consistent? He's had a handful of bad games in his three year career, that was clearly an outlier and not the norm.

I just can't wrap my head around this. Andy Dalton is a favorite target around here for criticism on not winning big games. Wilson goes to two SBs and wins playoff games in his first three seasons and all we talk about is the other QBs we think could have done the same thing.

Kaepernick? Seriously? Eli Manning? Matt Ryan? Joe Flacco? The latter three would have been flattened like David Carr behind our shit line, and Kaepernick would be busy too busy throwing INTs (which Russ doesn't do).

I wait for someone to point out an actual flaw in his game (which there isn't).

Kaepernick only threw 10 INTs this year. Considering he's had an underwhelming year, I think the 20 TDs and 7 INTs of Wilson aren't exactly out of Kaepernick's reach when he has a good running game supporting him. A slightly above average QB with very good running game and the best defense in the league will be a championship team. It's better than what the 2000 Ravens and the 2003 Bucs had anyway. I don't think I'm being unfair when I'm assessing Wilson as a QB with growing pains getting bailed out by that awesone defense every now and then.

@RevanBITW: I disagree strongly. The team is built around his strengths, and he is a rare talent. I could see Rodgers or Luck doing just as well/better given the offense and surrounding players, that's it.

I don't think people realize that Wilson's surrounding cast on offense isn't much besides Lynch. The offense line is more porous than Spongebob, and we have a gaggle of number three receivers masquerading as number ones. We always say, "Man, if only X had a better surrounding cast. It's not his fault the rest of the offense sucks." Well guess what? Russ's offense blows hard and he still led an offense that scored 24.6 points per game.

I do think his upside will get him to be better than he is now. But lets go through my list, in no particular order: Flacco, Peyton Manning, Brady, Romo, Roethlisberger, Rivers, Luck, Rodgers, Brees, Ryan, Kaepernick, Eli Manning. All of them would've been able to do what Wilson has been able to do in terms of winning in these last 2 years. And I would say most of them are better than he is now. But being in that group is no small thing, he's absolutely in a cluster of QBs who are pretty good and can win in the playoffs, but ultimately, not special. And last Sunday showed he's not consistent yet. There's only Rodgers, Brady, Peyton(when healthy) and Brees who are head and shoulders better than the rest of the league.
