[QUOTE="TintedEyes"][QUOTE="MC3887"]

But updated 2010, I hope remedy didn't ruin your chance to bash the game..

MC3887

They only updated 2 questions :?

Maybe that is all the need to update, they already stated in the past that only the night was linear anyway, people just chose to ignore it.

"We'll open more of the game world as the game progresses. The area is so large, that we want the players to become familiar with a smaller subset of the world, before we introduce new locations and new areas." - Sam Lake I remember this quote it has been in the FAQ for ages, before the PC version was canned, am i that unclear or what?

Exactly. That Sam Lake quote is maybe even before the game began production on the 360.

Man this game sounds/looks so good, cant wait to play it. Hopefully a demo will come out.

destro123
It wont, they said they will focus on polishing the game instead of wasting time on a demo.

[QUOTE="themyth01"] Because linear games like Uncharted 2 are just plain bad, am I right?SilentlyMad

well that is fine but the the rest of PS3 games are super open world for example look at the open world of Killzone 2...hmmm oh wait nevermind since that is as linear as they come, But ya lem what about God of War 3 hahahaa lem....oh wait neverminhd since that is as linear and scripted as it gets for a game but there is also...ya but MGS4 um oh ya um nevermind MGS kinda linear and scripted also but what about blah and...blah..blah..blah.......

I am not a cow and i have nothing against linear games. However i am just pointing out that the faq is old, before the PC version was canned, so it might not be true.

[QUOTE="Revan_911"][QUOTE="toast_burner"] there is no pc version

toast_burner

The PC version was in production, that means that the FAQ is unchanged since the PC version was in production (which was boasted to use all quad cores)

this faq was made after the pc version was canceled

No it wasnt.... It may have been updated to answer some new questions, but i recognize those questions from way before.

[QUOTE="tikki25x"]ugh, child please. you do know the 360 uses a multiple core processor right? and theyve stated multiple times that during the day the game is open world.

toast_burner

He clearly means the PC version. It's clear it's been there forever.

[QUOTE="Revan_911"]

Are there any loading times?

No. Utilising multiple cores, the game will seamlessly generate vast areas of the game world for the graphics card to render.

I guess this was updated a few days ago right? Told you man those answers been there forever, nothing is confirmed. Although i don't know why an open world game woudnt work on the 360 its not like its never been done.

themyth01

360 is a multiple core system... It's really funny watching fanboys trying to find any little thing to bash the game.

I wasn't trying to bash it i have visited those forums and the FAQ is unchanged from 2006/07 that's what I'm trying to tell you.
