My favorite boss is by far Viola from Zone Of the Enders.

I liked also: Psycho-Mantis, Metal Gear Solid

The End, Metal Gear Solid 3

Alexia, Resident Evil. Code Veronica X

Cybil Bennett, Silent Hill

Edit: Sorry, I was carried away into my gaming memories and I forgot that i'm into the PS3 thread...

Anyway from only a few PS3 titles that I have played, what I enjoyed most, was the sequence with Kai shooting at enemy soldiers, who were trying to kill her father Shen in "Heavenly Sword". And Whiptail, as a persona, from the same game.

I am never going to Australia...LostProphetFLCL
Me neither!!! I 've seen a lot of documentaries in "Animal Planet", and I came to the conclusion that Australia is the "paradise" of spiders and other disgusting creatures. I sympathise our Australian friends for what they are dealing with there!

do you think pregnant women who drink, smoke or do anything else to cause the unborn fetus harm, should they be arrested for child abuse?prplminivandrvr
Of course not. It's absurd! I'm against abortion as an idea, but I think it's mainly up to the parents to decide in each case.

A gentleman's rule: When you go out with a woman, she isn't supposed to touch the following three things: door handle, lighter, and wallet.

Have you purchased a video-game, or a video-game console, or just anything from e-bay? And if so, what's your impression of the whole procedure? I haven't bought anything from e-bay so far, because I'm a little sceptical about it, although I see many interesting offers there. I'm a little concerned about contacting with a stranger from the other side of the world. I have this childish fear, what if I mess things up unintentionally, and the seller gets mad with me, or if I make some mistake with the pay-pal system and so on...

So what experiences did you have with e-bay? I would be very interested to read them.

Is "sentense" some new pretentious word that I don't know about? Bloodbath_87
No, don't worry. It's actually the word "sentence" that I misspelled.

[QUOTE="Rheinmetal"]Don't be a grammar nazi, it's trivial. Your grammar isn't perfect. Proper english is a style of grammar, not the only correct grammar. Your english isn't proper. Nobody uses proper english because it's flamboyant. It's a style of English that was created by rich snobs because they loved the stink of their own **** Nobody fully uses proper english. It's always a hybrid of guttural & proper.

MagnumPI

I never expected someone to actually relate me to the nazi movement, or the nazi way of thinking (!!!). Well there is a first time for everything I guess. (Also, that explains why I was never enthusiastic about the "Medal of Honor" series).

When I talk about "proper English", what I have in mind, is a minimum common code that everyone can understand, and feel comfortable with. Nothing more than that. If you are happy with how the language is used on the internet, it's ok with me, believe me.

Don't be so sure about the "suffering" part...

if you read, what I have read here for almost a year, you will understand exactly what I mean.

/QUOTE]

Im not doing this to be an as*&^^^ im just doing this to show you that everyone makes mistakes, be it at their own level. Therefore you shouldn't assume that everyone types incorrect on purpose. And ofcourse you will see more mistakes then during English class but thats also because this is an informal webforum, and not a graded essay.

You shouldn't had bothered to show me something, that I already understand by my own (and in any case, you could had found a more elegant way to do it.) Perhaps I wasn't clear enough, in what I was meaning: I am annoyed because I see that many people don't care to express themselves properly. Not knowing (like me) is one thing, but not trying at all is something, that I don't like as an attitude, whether English is someone's first language, or second . Also, there is a great distance between writing in an informal way, and completely ignoring, or worse, defying on purpose (I insist), the rules of written communication.

For me, an internet forum is a place of communication, not so much different than any other place where we meet people. While in a forum, our written expression is the sole way to show to the others something from ourselves. It's the equivalent of how we care, or don't care for our behaviour, or for our apperance , when we are in a public place, where we can see and hear each other. So my point is, that neglecting the language, is the same as neglecting a part of ourselves, and being disrespective towards the others.
