[QUOTE="Rheinmetal"]

I have noticed in this site, and in the web generally that very few know how to write a correct sentense, and even worse, very few care to do so. Almost every text that is posted is full of grammatical and spelling errors. I'm not an English speaker my self, yet I try my best to avoid as possible any errors. And even if I eventually do some, at least I try not to. I don't understand why people don't care anymore to be expressed using proper English. Is proper use of language old-fashioned ?

It would be very interesting for me to read your opinions, especially those who are Americans or English speakers generally.

I have noticed on this site, and on the Internet in general, that very few people know how to write a gramatically correct sentence, and, even worse, that very few people care to do so. Almost every text that is posted is filled with grammatical and spelling errors. English is not my first language, yet I try as much as possible to avoid any errors. And, even if I eventually do make some errors, at I have tried not to make those errors. I do not understand why people do not care to express themselves using proper English. I am sorry-that was a really mean move by me:|

That was mean indeed. I'm glad though that you proved me wrong. Fortunately there are some people like you, who know efficiently how to use their native language. But I'm afraid that you missed the point. You shouldn't be so much concerned on how a non English speaker tries to express himself in English, but rather how the language is purposely violated by many members of the internet community, especially from those that English is their mother language, as they don't have any excuse for doing so.

PS#1: Of course things maybe worse on other sites, but if that's the case, then this is very sad.

PS#2: Naturally this is not an English language problem. I see the same symptoms in my own mother language too. But since English is a common language for the whole world, any issue related to it has great importance.

Edit: For anyone who is interested to point out my own grammatical mistakes, that I made in the paragraph above, there have already been posted some replies containing a detailed report of my mistakes, that really covers well the subject. So you probably might be already covered by their analysis.

Too many unfortunately, about 60 % of the games I own.

My recent unfinished PS3 titles are: Heavenly Sword, Resistence Fall of Man, PAIN, Tekken 5 Dark Ressurection Online, Euro 2008, Little Big Planet, Euro 2008 and Echochrome. (I have only completed Uncharted. Drake's Fortune!)

XBOX: Orange Box, Grand theft Auto 4, Assasin's Creed, Conan, Kameo, Need For Speed Carbon, Halo 3, PGR 4, Oblivion and many others (I have only completed Dead Rising, Command & Conquer 3, and Medal of Honor Airborne)

PS2: Suikoden V, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy XII, Splinter Cell Double Agent (Here on the contrary, I have completed the majority of my games)

Mine worst games are:

Tomi Makkinen Rally (PS) It was only my second purchase for the Playstation console. I wasn't very experienced gamer. Still I could understand that it was terrible.

Mortal kombat Trilogy (PS) Having used to playing the Tekken series, I was shocked with this prehistoric game. I thought it was a joke.

Realm of the Dead (PS2) When I bought it, I knew exactly what I was doing. I saw it as a collector's item. It's flat out the worst game in PS2 history.

Bust a bloc (PS2) The same as above. It comes as second worst game of PS2.

Alone in the Dark (PS2) A huge dissapointment. The reason why I stopped playing PS2 titles.

PAIN (PS3) I can't really say it's a bad game... because it cannot be taken as one. It's a mini-game, a demo, a sample, a blue-print, I don't know how to name it, but it's a trash.

I hadn't heard it before. What one can say? I'm very sorry for this poor mother. It's shocking!

I think that insanity has nothing to do with video-games. This is purely an incident caused by mental dissorder. If it hadn't been for Halo, it could had been something else.

About BC, I have been puzzled with this case for almost a year, and that was the main reason I was very sceptical to buy a PS3 console. (Finally I did!)

My conclusion for the BC issue is the following: It's not the production cost that led to the cut off of BC, at least it wasn't the main reason. If during 2008, there was still a BC capable PS3 model in the market, then two unfortunate results would had occured for SONY: 1) less people, if none, would had bought any PS2 consoles, and 2) some people who couldn't easilly afford the new expensive PS3 titles, would had settled, as an alternative, with their favourite old PS2 games in a new shiny PS3 environment. It was absolutely crucial for SONY to boost their exclusive PS3 titles now, before it was too late.. So the mistake for Sony wasn't the cut off of BC, but their idea to put it at the first place. As soon as they realised their stupidity they stopped the production of BC capable models.

BC is bitter story for all of us PS2 titles owners, but I hope as soon as PS2 consoles production ends, the BC will come again.

[QUOTE="Avenger1324"]Is it MS not allowing Live in Greece, or Greece not allowing Live in Greece. Might initially sound like a stupid comment, but I remember reading a few articles over the last few years about Greek authorities making some pretty stupid anti-gaming laws/rulings so I wouldn't be all that surprised if it wasn't linked in with that.

I don't know about it, but it's an iteresting aspect you put. My guess though, was that MS is sceptical about investing in Greek market in general, because of the widely spread piracy problem in the country.

So, if you checked out the main site, and searched for Live access in your area, and it says that you're not supported, then they just did tell you.

If that's the case, then they are typically in order, and I should have been more carefull. But still I can't help but feeling mistreated by them. Sorry. As for the UK/US accounts solution, I prefer to be absoloutely in accordance to whatever I sign for. Maybe it's stupid, but that's the way I see it.

but if you know that you can't play online...

Legendaryscmt

I didn't know it. None told me, because I never asked anyone, because I took it for granted, since I had an internet connection. And it's not mentioned anywhere in the console's package either. If not asking was naive by me, not informing, and not warning was unfair by the company.
