In the case of some cultures there are some studies out there showing that they slip off more frequently due to people being on average smaller as well.
Mods this isn't trolling, if you really want I'll try to find the relevant study
ATI doesn't need to outperform 8800GT and that they've gotten as close as they have bodes well for them. ATI right now is looking to the mid-range and lower-end market which is where they are really starting to beat Nvidia, in the meantime they are also working on R700 which should hopefully regain the performance crown for them.

ATI is headed in the right direction in more ways than Nvidia is right now actually..let me explain. The computer market is headed towards not just greater performance, but greater performance per watt and is moving towards increasingly inexpensive components. In this way DAAMIT has everything well under control.

Where are they generally focusing their resources right now? In the mid-range and low-end price points and thats where they can really shine. If they really commit to energy efficiency and inexpensive component prices then they will stand to sweep the floor when the tipping point is finally reached..and every indication is that its getting closer.

So by undercutting Intel/Nvidia and working to improve efficiency and cost to performance they are helping themselves out immensely, even if that means financial pains in the meantime.
If anything Catholics don't take enough heat, the Pope is indirectly responsible for deaths in the tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands..and thats one single issue in one single region.whipassmt
who did he kill. guys like you just prove my point that anti-catholic prejudice is on the rise.

Go back a page, I've already described it. Its a well-known problem that the Catholic Church is just exacerbating.

Not me when the 8800GT still beats thoughts cards and is cheaper. Go to tomshardware. They have a review and performance of noth cards and they dont even beat the 8800GT.Killfox

Except its not cheaper...not even close. Try to have the basic facts down before wading in.

Last time I checked, you believe only one source of propaganda to bash one network while rejecting to admit that the other is just as biased.

soulsofblayck

Come again?I'm afraidI didn'thear you over Fox's bias.

Keep in mind thats pretty much just a singular issue..I can pull up dozens more about outright lies and manipulations of fact on the part of Fox News. Care to debunk?

Uh huh, cause CNN (communist news network) is SO unbiased.

soulsofblayck

Last I checked there weren't corporate memos coming from the highest levels disclosed which instructed CNN news anchors on how best to bash a particular political party.

I believe it was in the 150-200W mark? Please correct me if I'm wrong...TicTac8745

Full system power with one of them is around 250w from the reviews I saw...possibly a bit more.

wow some of you are doing everything in your power trivialize everything I'm saying

Is gamespot athiest central or something?

One thing I notice about athiests is THEY ARE NEVER HAPPY. Even when I was an athiest I was angry for no reason, just for the sake of being angry. Some of you need some spiritual reflection and find some piece of mind otherwise I truly feel sorry for you

Boogie_J

Well guess what, you don't represent all atheists..I greatly value my freedom in all respects and being told that I'll go to hell because of some rules set down thousands of years ago which have virtually no basis on law today and many of which can be easily considered bigoted, racist, morally disgusting or in other ways that don't make me want to support them.

One thing I've noticed since I've come to college is that I am much happier and guess what? That corresponds with me not going to church much anymore also. Care to explain that one?

Why would you say it's the worst? I checked the specs, and there way better then what my card has got. silversurfergold

But worse than both the 3870 and 8800GT and more expensive as well I believe (at least in the case of the 3870).
