One thing I will never understand: how can you possibly lose such a thing that, albeit small, that still cost them a hefty amount of money (working time of several professionals)? How can you not make several copies?
@RedWave247: It's confirmed, but just like it's the case with Bioshock and so many other """"""remasters""""", you won't see ANY difference. And that's exactly why they give it for free.
What can possibly be so troublesome about porting these? They essentially don't even need to do anything, just slightly alter the already finished 6 years ago PC game to work on x86 consoles. Probably the Wii U version gives them all the troubles.
However, with the proliferation of day-one patches and DLC, there's still typically lots of work for developers to do after reaching this important milestone.
Wouldn't it be an absolute travesty for such a game (10 year dev cycle, game is 4 hours long) to have ANY patches??? But it probably will have.
Digital 3DS and Wii U games have not been ruled out for the Nintendo Switch.
Measly Tegra will emulate PowerPC Gecko and Radeon 5650? Don't be ridiculous... 3DS games are somewhat possible (not likely), but not the Wii U games for sure.
