@Xristophoros: Simple - PS4pro is 4TF and ScorpioN is 6TF. They needed to look into the future. 2 years is not the life cycle they've had in mind for Switch.

@louixiii: LOL, that's one heck of a support!!! But that's exactly what's gonna happen, even in the best case scenario.

@Sepewrath: You can't realistically expect people to not lie, right? That's very true. Damage control.

The main question I personally have is how Nin is gonna keep supporting Wii U. It promised to support it even after the Switch release, remember? It said time and time again that Switch is not a replacement for Wii U. Yet even this year we only saw 1 (ONE!) non-tiny, non-indy game for Wii U (Paper Mario) and next year there's nothing even announced, except for Zelda.

It'll be the least amount of time from the announcement of a "major" console to release (5 months, 10 days, to be presise). Which makes you wonder if it's gonna be that major after all.

You can already tell it's doomed to fail - another failed 5 year cycle for Nintendo, another 5 years down the drain.

Skyrim showing is not coincidental, of course - it's pretty much the ceiling of what Switch can do (it's power is EQUAL to Wii U), and Skyrim is ultimately a 2011 PS360 game.

They either needed to release a 5Tflops console to get all the 3rd parties or they need to release more than 10 decent first party games during a cycle (Wii U situation). And they really can't do the second option simply because they don't have many in-house studios and their games take years to make and Nintendo's too cheap to buy 3rd party exclusives.

So, you can safely say that this trailer-ad only shows some imaginary people that live in Nintendo's imaginary dreamworld.

@amaneuvering: I don't see the logic.

-Yes, people do carry tablets, even 10" ones. Tablets they can do ANYTHING on, including work, gaming or other entertainment

-You'll need to carry a BULKY ugly Switch tablet just to play games. Of course it'll have a proprietary browser that'll be mostly unusable (as always with Nin). Nobody's gonna do that.

That ad shows people that only live in Nintendo's mind!

@desert_thief: Except it's not "FULL-Fledged" at all. In order for it to be a full-fledged modern console it's needs to have AT least 5TFlops of raw power. And it doesn't even have 1. You're misinformed about the Tegra chip power, my friend. If such power could be confined in such small tablet, Xbox One's size would never have been so huge.
