Welcome back, Jess. Ed was a funny guy to listen too, but we missed your musical talents. No one makes adorable horror game songs while swearing like a sailor at a blinking flashlight quite like you do.
They are getting close to the PS4 and XBox One versions. As I type this they are at $3,228,314 with 21 hours to go. They already posted the goal as reached on the chart, I'm not sure if that was optimistic guessing or if they are getting money from another source as well. Ether way if kickstarter donations keep coming at the rate they have been today than they should just about make it to that goal before the deadline.
@digitaltiger I can see your point. A lot of the articles lately seem to jump into conflicting points of view (sometimes even with implied political bias, ugh...) that can start as debate among users and then slowly boil down to flame wars as people start getting offended. I can understand why it's done; articles that people visit and can inspire much conversation get the most attention, but the down side is that no one can really end a discussion on the internet so the intensity of the "discussion" eventually explodes before it dies out.
On a side note: I find it disturbing that he implied games can't be art without being politically minded. I disagree with that train of thought completely.
But I do agree about the personal attacks message; they are a poor reflection on human nature in general. If you don't like a reviewer's line of thought then ether don't pay attention or go to a different site. Attacking the person verbally is just really sad and cruel.
Man, I wish I could go to one of these things someday. You know, do some traveling and visit Japan, see the sights, eat some Japanese food, meeting some interesting people, visit the Tokyo game show. It seems like it would be a great vacation.
I haven't played many SEGA games lately, but I'm hoping ATLUS still gets to do their thing out of this deal they way they used to because their work is almost always fun and interesting to me.
