So what was new here? And how much longer was the Spiderman intro? .02 seconds? Looked the same to me, just with some text in different languages thrown in.
It looks like it's going to get really old, really fast. No story, no objectives, no real sense of progression. You gather materials to upgrade your weapons, suit, and ship to go to another planet and repeat.
It's like an intergalactic Minecraft, but without a key mechanic like building. At least we're replacing having any goal or key mechanic with intergalactic police who will try to kill you for doing the only thing you really can do in the game. We're all pretty much automatically criminals.
I was really hyped for this game, but without anything more to really do it's sounding like a major disappointment.
The only thing I really thought was good here was dealing with Deadpool's inner voice(s)... But no dialogue boxes, please. It worked well in the video game but I don't really think it would for the movie.
Why does there have to be diversity? The fact of the matter is, not many women are interested in these fields at all... Even fewer as a career. Not to mention all this BS creates an issue where a company is basically obligated to hire an employee based on their gender, ethnicity, or religion just to create a better diversity when the media decides to attack.
Why don't we just give jobs to whomever is most qualified, and has the best work ethic? Man or woman, American or Indian, Muslim or Christian; it doesn't matter... At all.
Let's all do some math! 250K goal. After all various fees they had a 415K budget to work with. That's a 165K overage. Minus the 35K from this artist that ditched still leaves you with 130K OVER their initial project goal which should have been based on all estimated costs to complete the project.
Then you look at the costs of everything else. Seems like they threw out some pretty big numbers to some amateurs in the industry without really even thinking about what they were doing. Especially on contracts. How is it you make a contract and add NOWHERE in said contract that the job needs to be completed.
These guys had no idea what they were doing. Which is sad because I'm pretty sure I could have managed better. Probably not in time but in resources as I'd rather deliver late than not deliver at all. A little research could have helped figure out how much should have gone where and getting a professional to work out the contracts would have done wonders.
@souther_hill Obviously I would recommend playing them but yes, all AC games can be played without the previous. Especially this one as it tackles a new ancestor and a new take on the real-world story portion with Desmond no longer in the spotlight. There will be nods to the other games you might not understand and it might take a bit longer to grasp the appreciation of the story but you'll definitely enjoy the game all the same without playing the rest.
@The-Neon-Seal You're kiddin' right? Dishonored has an entirely different story and game-play. Yes, they are both action stealth games with a grimy setting but if that makes them that closely related than let's face it... Thief would be a rip off of many other games,
Sort of tired of seeing paper mario games, while they may be good there's nothing creative about it anymore. That's what made the first two so exciting, now there's four and while the games may be good it's not exactly exciting or unique anymore.
