[QUOTE="CanYouDiglt"]It is pretty simple Halo Reach was shown and it looks amazing so some feel the need to hurry and bash Halo. I would bet anything if the Reach trailer did not look great then this thread would never have been made. skrat_01
What? TC stated he is hopeful for Reach. Why do people leap at the throats of those who are the least bit critical of the IP?

Judging by his posting history, you can't go by one line in his post.

I hate Oblivion, I hated Morrowind. I can say "I'm hopeful for Elder Scrolls V" but that doesn't mean a damn thing, other than to get people like you to think "oh, he's not just some hater, he was just disappointed in the games"

So today I decided to pop in Halo 3, out of hype of the reach trailer, and started co-op. Graphically...it lost its touch completly....gameplaywise ... it felt ... Old. Outdated. I can't even explain it. The mechanics of the game just felt so ancient. Online was still fun...but is it just me or is Halo 3 mulitplayer just who presses the RT first and unloads a full clip wins? :/

I really hope Reach delivers though.

KukicAdo

Obviously someone doesn't know how to play and obviously someone is a level 1.

Ah, nothing better than a Halo Hater self owning themselves.

[QUOTE="Colin1192"]

I have been dragged into these matches 3 times today. 18 player free for all on Rust when I was looking to play Ground War. Just complete mayhem. Anywhere you go someone is there. Although in the third match I was finally starting to do good. More of a nuisance then anything. You get put in, play the game, do what you can and leave after its over

VoodooHak

Luckily, IW is already working it and MS is aware and keeping the community people in the loop.

What BS..

This game was actually starting to get fun and they want to patch it? Oh well, hopefully they screw it up some more to make it even better. 18 person never ending Domination on Rust is the greatest thing to ever happen for Call of Duty and they want to try and patch it..ha

I'm sorry Infinity Ward, my fault for actually enjoying the game. Kind of sad how it took a glitch to make the game playable. Hopefully I don't have to go back to Call of Duty: Camp Simulator 2 or I'm going to be disappointed. I don't wanna go back to Halo 3..

Are you serious? Ha you must not play much Socom Confrontation ... I've put in close to 200 hours and anytime I see someone even attempting a glitch I make sure to get that guy voted ... and teammates are ready to vote as well because they know the moment that guy gets caught cheating the whole rooms gonna turn into a glitchfest and ruins the whole game ...

What's your PSN ID? Wanna check your stats over at Socom.com

W1NGMAN-

I haven't played much Confrontation, because when I did play people would glitch. They would be able to shoot through mountains so I just stopped playing, because as much as I loved SOCOM 2 it was ruined by glitches so I didn't even bother wasting time on Confrontation.

I must say that's hard to believe, but all I have to say is that with the latest two patches I haven't seen one glitch performed ... so it's safe to jump back in if glitches were the reason for you leaving in the first place.

Yeah, I've been thinking about getting into it with the new maps and stuff. Even if glitches are still a problem, I wouldn't even care. There's nothing on consoles that takes skill and has a great community, and most games don't even fit both criteria.

Reason I love the fact Socom Confrontation has a voting system ... anytime we see anyone glitching aka CHEATING we vote their sorry asses out of the room.

W1NGMAN-

Not really.

I've seen plenty of people glitching and never get voted out, and SOCOM 2 was full of glitchers. Games would never end due to it becoming Glitch Wars.

To get voted out in SOCOM you have to be incredibly bad or teamkill. Glitchers rarely get voted.

[QUOTE="wooooode"] How is it not cheating, that is like saying I was not caught so it is not stealing.Snipes_2

Bad analogy.

See my other post in this thread for an explanation. "Cheating" is an unfair advantage given my modifications not accessible to all players. Exploiting a glitch, while still "bad" in a multiplayer setting, is not "cheating," since the glitch is there for anyone to use. It is like claiming software piracy and stealing are the "same thing." There are technical differences and using the terms synonymously is not right.

YOu have to know how to do the Glitch though, that's where most other players are at a disadvantage. So technically it's still considered cheating.

That has nothing to do with it. Learning how to do a glitch isn't hard. Just go on YouTube..

Cheating would be something like what happened with Gears 2, where people modded the game to have infinite health and infinite ammo.

A glitch is a glitch, you know that's why it's called a glitch.

Haha, quick to fix? The game is even more screwed up now. You search for one playlist and it puts you in another. XP boosting has taken over (which I'm actually glad it did, because now the game is actually fun)

I hope people now understand why I said Infinity Ward is competing with Epic to see who can make the bigger joke of a game. Epic, before IW, was the only developer to further screw up their game with patches, as IW has done. Sadly, the COD fanboys will never know and just praise the game as the best shooter ever and say IW is the best developer ever.

Killzone 2 has some of the best Map/Level Design ever. Really really well designed.

When did you start playing multiplayer..2008?
