I think it would be difficult to narrow down all of those categories. However, I've started counting how many games I complete in a year. So far this year I've finished 13. They span differentgenres and consoles.

I think Nintendo made the mistake of not taking online gaming seriously enough. I think there are plenty of single player driven experiences on the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. What kind of games you like will have to be taken into consideration of course. I can understand you being someone that doesn't particularly want to play online, but I can't think of any kind of game the those systems fail to offer. I'll givea few examples (not meant in a mean way, just making suggestions).
Xbox 360
Kameo, Banjo Kazooie, Fable 2, Mass Effect games, Gears of War games, Halo games, Alan Wake, Project Gotham games, Forza games
Playstation 3
Metal Gear Solid, Uncharted games, Resistance games, Killzone 2, Ratchet games, Heavy Rain, God of War, Motorstorm games
Then across both of these platforms you can get games like Assassin's Creed, The Orange Box, Grand Theft Auto 4, Red Dead Redemption, Fallout 3, Oblivion, Dragon Age, Resident Evil 5, Bioshock games.
There are a lot of other games I could mentioned, I was just trying to think of games across different genres.
There's no doubt that Exclusives can be the difference maker for a system. Gears of War, Halo and Fable for the 360. Metal Gear Solid, God of War and Uncharted for the PS3.Then there's Zelda, Mario and Metroid for the Wii.
However, Mass Effect 2 and Oblivion are two of my three favorite games of this generation. I completely agree that most of the exclusitivity arguments can be kind of dumb.
If this ends up being true...and it IS Bethesda making it, and it's NOT an MMO...then for me E3 = WIN!
God of War 3 is definitely one of the better looking games, but I think Uncharted 2 is still untouched.
Couldn't you have just said "What 360 game has the best graphics?" That way you could have left out graphics king.R3FURBISHED
Maybe I should have done that, but it really doesn't matter...sooner or later the "It doesn't look as good as this game!" or "Too bad Mass Effect 2 isn't exclusive!" arguments will come up, which will make whatever I said totally irrelevant. So I don't worry about wording as much as I used to.
I definitely think RE5 is a game that doesn't get much recognition when it comes to it's graphics. One of the things that game has over a lot of other games (Alan Wake, ME2, even Gears 2 to a degree), is consistancy. Sometimes these games look amazing in one part...not so much in other parts. I think RE5 manages to consistenly impress me.
Okay, so I think most people would agree that for the Wii it's Super Mario Galaxy 2 (I haven't played it yet, but it's improved over the original, which was previously IMO the best). For the PS3 it's undoubtedly Uncharted 2 (which is also IMO Console Graphics King).
The Xbox 360 has had a couple of great looking games come out recently. Specifically I'm thinking of Alan Wake and Mass Effect 2. There's also Gears of War 2 and Banjo Kazooie (one people might not have thought of). I think those games are up there with the best of them. What do you guys think is the Xbox 360's graphics king at this point.
Alan Wake was an interesting game in terms of "what score would I give it?". It's visuals were amazing to me, sound was great (a few scenes had some kind of cheesie dialogue), the gameplay was outstanding, and the story was compelling. That being said, the game lacked memorable moments. When I say that, I'm remembering some of the great moments in Resident Evil 4, like the segment in the cabin, or the mine cart, or the truck sequence. Not to mention the RE4 boss battles. Alan Wake failed to deliver anything like that. Also, Alan Wake was a bit disappointing in terms of enemy variety. There was only a handful of different enemy types. For the record, Alan Wake took me about 8-9 hours to beat (not 6 hours). It's longer than some people say. Alan Wake is still one of the better horror/action games I've played. I'd give it 8.8 or so as well.
