I played Ratchet and Clank: TOD, it was my first time playing any game in that series, and I thought it felt recycled to a degree. So I think if I had played the rest of the games in the series I would have probably not liked it at all. Now if you're someone that likes the formula of the game, recycled gameplay probably won't bother you too much.

I think 7.5-8.0 is a good review for the last one. So for this one, I'm thinking 8.0. However, with the inconsistent reviews GS has been giving out lately, it'll probably get a 9.0.

Killzone 2 - 8.8

Uncharted 2 - 9.3

I played both and enjoyed both, but there are better games out there.

1. Halo 3 - I love Halo

2. Oblivion - My favorite SP experience of all time.

3. Gears of War/Gears of War 2- Redefined what I thought the 360 could do!

4. Super Mario Galaxy - This is what ALL Wii games should be.

5. Uncharted 2 - Great game from beginning to end.

6. Mass Effect - Excellent story

7. MGS4 - IMO not as good as reviews it got, but still an excellent game

8. The Orange Box -Amazing value, though I'm mainly putting it up here for Portal! :)

9. Kameo - We could use more adventure games of this quality.

10. Killzone 2 - technical showcase

Ratchet and Clank= Shooter! Uncharted=Shooter, Killzone=Shooter, Resistance=Shooter, MGS4=Shooter

I do understand the arguement you're making, but the PS3 is almost as reliant on shooters as the 360.

Here's my thing, I don't understand how a game coming on PC as well as 360 negates that games existence. Yes, technically PS3 owners can play it without having a 360, BUT we all know probably 90% of cows don't have a PC that can run the games that we're talking about. Or if they do, they probably won't, it's just an arguement they use to justify their own games.

For what it's worth though, I DO agree that MS needs new IPs.

Mass Effect, Gears of War, Crackdown, Alan Wake, Kameo, Viva Pinata, and to a degree even Halo Wars are new IPs they've come up with this gen.

But, if you look at Sony, as overrated as I think a lot of their games are a lot of the time, they've come up with: Heavenly Sword, Resistance, Motorstorm, Uncharted, Warhawk, Infamous, LBP, Mod Nation Racers, Heavy Rain, and others.

So we're in agreement that some new IPs for MS at very least wouldn't hurt!

Another thing that I just thought about that might explain it, is that every time a FPS comes out that's a PS3 exclusive, cows call it the "Halo Killer". Either way, both are great games.

I'm not saying it's justified, what lemmings do, but cows do it constantly too. ODST gets 9.0 and cows were saying how much it sucked.

I am constantly seeing people talking about Rare games and how horrible they are. Now, I understand the fact that they haven't made games as high in quality as they did back in the N64 days, but that doesn't make their games bad. I think Kameo is an excellent game. It's got solid gameplay, strong artistic graphics, and one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard (probably my personal favorite actually). Banjo was an interesting take, but in any event, a very very high quality adventure. I think the Rare games add a lot to the Xbox 360 line up.

Anyone else out there agree?

Regardless of whether there's any truth to this, I remember seeing a lot "Mass Effect sucks!" threads. As soon as there's a possibility of it beingmultiplatform, every PS3 owner suddenly loves it.

We all have our preferences, but some people are just big time fanboys.

This apparently has been a bad week for PS3, my blu ray laser stopped working. I traded it in and bought a new PS3 slim.
