I have a new job:
Robert Blog
If you have Facebook, read this.
by Robert on Comments
If you are reading this I will assume you have a Facebook account. If not, please stop right here and never talk to me AGAIN (jkjk, talk to me later).
So I made this Facebook application for MP3.com (I know you will ask why not for GameSpot), and I would like to get more people to try it out and give me ideas and suggestions for how to improve it.
If you would like to install it you simply go to:
http://apps.facebook.com/musicvote
And accept all the messages that ask you to install it. Once it is installed you will be able to vote on musician match-ups every day and see how your friends voted too.
Please take a look at it and tell me your thoughts in the comments. If you like it, please tell your friends. I'm trying to get it to take off and would appreciate some new users! Hopefully it's you.
YouTube ... Fridays?

This is sweet. The shoe company should market their shoes as force fields.
Wii Numbers in your profile!
by Robert on Comments
Today I rolled out Wii Numbers for your profile. This allows anyone who you are GameSpot friends with to see your Wii Number if you set one in your "About Me" preferences.
That's it.
Cake or Pie?

The all important question on everyone's mind this E3:
Cake or Pie? (obviously it's pie).
YouTube Tuesdays #2 (Berries and Cream)

I probably missed a week, but who cares. This movie explains how you too can do the berries and cream dance!
GameSpot Search Rubics (New Feature)
by Robert on Comments
Today I pushed out Search Rubics on GameSpot. Essentially when you do a general search on gamespot, it may recommend related search terms to help you find what you are looking for. Click here for an example , which is "mario". Right now, it should say "Related Search Terms: zelda, pokemon, sonic, final fantasy, paper mario, god of war, super mario, metroid". As it is used more it will learn and give better results, so that things like paper mario and super mario are at the front of the list.
Admittedly I did not create this feature, but simply launched it as the person working on it is no longer with us. If you have any questions, I will try my best to answer them.
Enjoy!
