Racers- Gt5 (puts everything to shame), Motorstorm 2 (first one is hella fun but lacking in content that will appear in the new one now that they got the engine down)

Sports- ps3 has better controls for sports games, ps3 will become lead platform soon

Shooters- Killzone2, Resistance (2nd one is coming), Haze, UT3, Half-Life2:Orange Box, Haze, CoD4, Bioshock (may eventually come), basically everything that 360 has minus Halo and Bioshock for now with Resistance, Haze, Killzone taking their place

Fighters- Tekken6 (exclusive), Soulcaliber4, basically everything but DOA

RPGs- FFXIII, FFXIIIversus both exclusive, White Knight Story

jyoung312
Killzone:lol:-Resistance:lol: Haze UT3 low reasource version:lol: HL-2 orange box will be WAY better played over Live FACE IT. Same as COD4

[QUOTE="leejohnson7"]PGR isnt as good as either racer, but forza comes close. The key word there is close; it still loses to GT. I am sure that somewhere, damage will be brought into discussion in this thread though  . DOA is terrible compared to every fighter out there, and its RPGs up to now have kind of sucked. Shooters is really the only thing on that list you have a chance of arguing.leejohnson7

:lol:Forza has been doing damage and online for 2 games now. GT is out of date racer in this regards. Not to mention Forza has been doing these 2 things SPECTACULARLY not just doing it.

Spectacularly? I suppose if you have low expectations you could put it like that.

Like I said, damage was going to come into it, but I wasn't expecting right away.

Online? You risk playing with ass-hats, quitters, people who drive backwards and lag. For me thats not sim. Damage? I don't care about. I HOPE, yeah hope GT never gets damage, especially if it's as piss poor as in forza. It has "Yeah we included damage for the sake of the casuals... lol, we wanted an actual selling point to this game and bam" written all over it.

You see GT has the career mode perfected. GT is doing grand without those two features, but would anybody even buy forza if it didn't have them? No, because it has nothing else going for it. PGR isn't even worth a mention in these comparisons either. The only time these threads get made is when you guys attack it with quantity. It doesn't matter how many of these games you have, individually, none stand up to GT.

It's a FACT you have never even played Forza 2 on Xbox Live. If you have it would of been for a short time at a friends or something. Becuase i don't get all this lag and ass hats that you speak of it runs smmoth as butter online. And as for Dmagae your just not even having a clue the dmagae in Forza is amazing. Baack to online and then you have all the mods and custom cars you can buy sell in the ebay like auction house. You my friend are a total GT blind fanboy who has never played Forza 2 on Live.

Prologue is the only thing coming for PS3 and it's another demo. It won't outscore Forza period. DOA is terrible? It outscored VF for PS3 so I wouldn't call it terrible and VF is coming to 360 with better graphics and online. Up to now is what we count on RPG not a year from now like cows want to do. Plus what JRPGs are you guys playing? Shooters ya I agree with you on that we blow PS3 out of the water.

I know the Cows only say DOA is not good becuase they don't have it anymore. But when it DOA 2 came out on PS2 they were going crazy for it.

Either way DOA is AWSOME it's destructible environments and online it's freaking a sweet fighting Only PS3 fans try and say it's bad becuase they don't have it.

[QUOTE="kevy619"]How long before we get the "Epic are lazy devs because they cant program for the ps3" threads?Robot_Slough

No i think this is the one that Cows will give up and not fight. They know this was the PS3 flagship and now the PS3 is ahh Struggling. They want to leave this alone i bet. Becuase if the 360 version comes out and is better it's XX2 OWNAGE on the Cows. So they will run from this one and hope it is sweep under the rug

Cows will stay in the barn on this one.

The TRUTH is without question. Ownz PS3 in racers 360 has 2 great ones in Forza and PGR. Sony only has 1 great 1

Shooters well it's not even worth talking about everyone know 360 DESTROYS everything in this.

Sports 360 now has this with the better versions PERIOD.

Fighters 360 has 2 great ones not and both online OUT OF THE BOX. DOA and VF

And now with the emergence of Mass Effect and being it's Bioware. And a more then likely Kotor well go figure. Rpg's are looking pretty dang gone amazing on 360 these days.

[QUOTE="chickmagnet_1"]I find it funny how Sony went from being one of my favorite companies in the videogame industry (with the PS2) to the worst, within the span of just one console generation. One may think that I am only speaking from a "game" perspective, but this is not the case. I do realize that the PS3 has only been out for about a year now, so of course the other consoles will have a better selection of games. But it definitely goes beyond the lack of good games. The main reasoning for my newly found disgust with this company is the extreme price that they tacked onto the PS3. It definitely is ridiculous. Not only that, but they continue to try and be slick by pulling these so-called "price cuts" when they aren't really cutting the price at all. Just trying to clear out old stock. I'm wondering if they intentionally priced the PS3 at an extreme price point, so that when the good games DO come out, and they start actually cutting the price, it will start to be more of an enticing deal, and get people excited (without them having to cut it down to a point where they aren't making money). But as of right now, the PS3 is just not an economically feasible option for most gamers. Yes, even those with jobs (so all of those people out there who are saying "want a PS3? go get a job!" News flash, these people HAVE jobs, and it still seems like a ludicrous amount for a game system. Hence why the other consoles are selling much better) To add insult to injury, Sony released its PSP, and then kept it at a high price point for a long time. When they finally did cut the price, it turned out that it was still very expensive. Right now, the PSP stands at $170 for the core, and $200 for the newly designed PSP in a pretty sweet package deal. True that this package deal makes the PSP unit itself pretty cheap, you still do have to shell out the $200 to aquire it. About $30 for the 1 GB card, $20 for Daxter, and then maybe $10 - $20 for Family Guy. So it brings the PSP unit to the $130 - $140 range. Definitely a better deal than the Core unit by itself, but once again, I'll remind you, you still need to shell out $200. And that's a little on the extreme side for a handheld, even one that can do everything under the sun. Now another option is trying to get a used PSP. Apparently, you can get one for $130. Even at $130, it still seems on the expensive side, considering that you will have to tack on extra crap. At $130 + $30 for a 1 GB card, expect to spend around $160. Now you see, for an extra $40, you could have gotten the Daxter pack. Do you see the stupidity of it all? So as of right now, you are better off just waiting until the new PSP comes down in price, and that will mean that the used old models will drop in price even lower. I digress. So to make a long story short, it is Sony's new marketing model and pricing structure which has turned me off from the company. The marketing for the PS3 and the PSP has been absolutely horrible when it comes to advertising, pricing, and pricing tiers. Heck, if Sony was offering a virtual reality experience for that kind of price (the price of the PS3), with motion trackers, etc., I would gladly jump aboard. But for a videogame system with glorified graphics, I ask, why? I do think it is a shame though, because I was a loyal Sony fan for quite some time. I still love my PS2, don't get me wrong. As for the current generation of consoles, I am rockin my 360, Wii, and the DS. I am actually considering picking up a Gameboy Micro, because I love the size of them. Micro has to be the most portable handheld to date, and at only $50, it is definitely a deal. Well Sony, for the last couple of years, you have disappointed a huge fan. Unfortunately for you, I'm not the only fan that you have disappointed. Oh, one more thing before I end this topic. Technically speaking, from an economy standpoint, if you buy a 360 as opposed to a PS3, you will be supporting the US. Microsoft is here in the good old US of A. Pro_wrestler
