thats because of the halo "effect". but after that its all down hill.. halo 3 is the biggest attack on the competition that there capable of doing. there is nothing more they can really offer that will have the same effect as halo 3. so in other words this is the 360 peek right now. after this hype dies down. it will be on the decline.

As of right now yes 360 is peaking for the holidays and Halo 3 But what your failing to think is MS /360 is going to hit the sweet spot for buyers far sooner then Sony. $200-$150 and then it's GAME OVER everyone will want a 360 at that cost.

Gears of War 8 people.....

XBL is a good service but until they get more people online for most these games its still third rate crap compared to PC gaming.

Halo 3 with only 16 people ...... It willprobably be good but if I draw 1 flag ctf on the zanzibar remake ( like I did with halo 2) over and over again for match making.... it will be a failure for me.

I loved Halo 1. But halo was always a game meant for 32+ people online and games like 1 flag ctf try and give it that epic action when it just doesnt have it.

No.... they are waiting for a console to drop below $200 or even drop below $150. Whoever does that first can take the sales by storm. The Ps2userbase does NOT consist of sony fanboys but rather semi-casual people that purchased a console because it was not overly expensive. $200 is the sweetspot and $150 is another sweetspot. Simple as that.

All I'm saying is MS could reat on this and deliver a MASSIVE Blow to Sony which Sony may never recover. Mean if MS announced and addition cost cut on the Elite Prem and Core even if it's only another say $30 off does not even need to be $50 this time. This could servilely hurt Sony to were they will fall so far behind in sales and will just never catch up. And by the time they even got back in the sales competition MS would be close to going it's time for 720. Either way MS is in the drivers seat from here on out in the gameing world without question MS owns USA PERIOD. Sony no longer has nore looks to recapture the USA in gaming sales i this MS has that on LOCKDOWN. And MS has 10million and counting payed Live users. And that number may be close to 25-30Million by the time 720 comes. And bam you know they are on board for 720.

Even if MS does not cut cost they will stil tighten the strangle hold on Sony because of this apparent no cost reduction on PS3. This are not HUNKY DORY in Sony land.

This is what i mean there is no real amazing Cell action going on here with physics or anything. It looks like a game that could be done on a HD PS2.

As far as gameplay and physics looks like nothing more then PS2 level. Notice i said a HD PS2 so meaning yes the graphics are better so the PS2 would have HD graphics but on the level of PS2 gameplay.

I'm just saying the Gameplay looks like PS2 level nothing amazing. No major physics to shout about or anything. Standard gameplay it looks like we yhave seen for years in PS2 games. And the graphics are PS3 leveli guess. I was just saying if there was a HD PS2 on the market this game could be a PS2 gameplay and HD PS3 type graphics.
