That is good, they look like a very creative developer,it's great news more ppl will be able to play their games in the future...
Also,it would be really great if they released a game pack containing flOw,Flower and Journey to the 360 and the PC,since I would really like to play those games...
Wait,is there anyone actually expecting an "authentic" warfare experience here, from this game?
Don't you remember first MoH,and all of those interviews with soldiers, and other military related ppl,and how in the end MoH ended up being nothing other than another CoD clone,4 hours of SP campaing, and MP a carbon copy of CoD features?
Judging from the E3 demo I saw, nothing in Warfighter can be called "authentic".If you are looking for an "authentic" warfare experience, just play Brothers in Arms games, they at least have some good elements like non-scripted teamwork, and the possibility of losing a squad memeber, which forces you to change your tactic, and adapt to the game's difficulty...
Yeah, back in the day,I do remember some of my friends being crazy about Farmville,Mafia Wars, and other Zynga crap, always collecting crops or whatever crap. That lasted about a year, then they simply forgot it ever existed...
Whoever thought the trend would seriously live on and heavily invested into it can't be called anything but an idiot...
Yeah,Crysis 3 brings minimal changes to the franchise, just a slightly different setting, from what we've seen so far. Also,I noticed Crysis 2 with MaldoHD mod applied looks much better than anything shown in the E3 gameplay video...
As I said,Crytek did their part in pushing technical graphics, now it's time for them to step aside, and let someone else do it again. There will always be PC developers determined to push PC hardware to its limits, and we'll see the next Crytek like dev sooner or later. For example,my current guess would be the Arma series dev,Bohemia Interactive...
I do agree there are some good "F2P" games around(Tribes and Planetside 2 for me),but as you said, they are exceptions, not the rule...
Also, even they aren't truly F2P,since they aren't "complete" experiences, and always try to somehow talk you into buying the "premium" stuff.Cosmetic stuff is much more acceptable than real, gamechanging items,I agree, but it still costs real money, which defeats the F2P purpose,an oxymoronic term I fully disagree with...
Really not a suprise."Facebook" gaming was just a trend,a very popular for some time, but as it is with all trends, they fade away quickly, only to be replaced with something else, equally short lasting...
