Your a complete and utter retard stop begging your ass off and putting ;; at the end of every fricking word you say, everybody told you what to do, I will make it clear to you so you stop asking so many questions and people stop wasting their time..
YOU DO NOT NEED TO UPGRADE YOUR GRAPHICS CARD, IT IS VERY GOOD AT THIS TIME, OVER CLOCKING IT WITH RIVA TUNER WILL MAKE IT FASTER IF YOU NEED TO!!! THERE IS VERY LITTLE PERFORMANCE GAIN IF YOU UPGRADE TO THE GTX260 OR 280, IT IS A WASTE OF MONEY!!!
YOU DO NOT NEED TO GO QUAD CORE, JUST OVERCLOCK YOUR CPU!!!

AND TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION, YES YOU BE VERY VERY GOOD SUMMER PLAY GOOD YES!

Now shut the hell up and use google next time.

If I switch from nvidia to ATI, switching cards wont be an issue will it? Do I have to do a full unsinstall of Nvidias drivers and how would I do the full uninstall?

Under the Mainboard tab, it says..
Manufacturer: Acer
Model: RS780HVF
Chipset: AMD 780G
Southbridge: ATI SB700
LPCIO: ITE IT8718

By the way, where is says southbridge ATI, does that mean I can only use ATI cards? This is weird, because the Comp came with an ATI card but I requested to have an Nvidia one installed (paid seperately and Future Shop installed for me) works fine lol

Sorry for double posting, I forgot to add this in...will I notice a notable increase in performance from the 9600GT? Will it be worth it to upgrade?

Im looking of buying a new card during christmas for my computer, but im really stuck on 2 choices here: The 9800GTX+ from Nvidia or the HD 4850 from ATI. The 4850 is cheaper, and im inclined to go towards it, but I heard that Nvidia cards are better supported in most games.
These are my current specs, im wondering if for both I can use them without a problem
CPU: AMD Phenom X4 9550 2.2 GHZ
GPU: Nvidia 9600GT
4GB DDR2 Ram 800 MHZ (I think, not sure how to check)
500 Watts Dynex Power Supply (It runs 9600GT with NO LOCKUPS or crashes)
But I am worried about the PSU...would it be able to run those cards fine? Not sure about the amperage because I dont have the box anymore, but the 9800GTX+ uses the same amps as the 9600

And last but not least, which card would be best for me? Price/Performance etc!
Thanks for your time!
