I can't believe how much harder this game is. A guard had to escort me on the road leading to Winterhold so a pack of ice wolves wouldn't kill me. I love it. :D

[QUOTE="Ross_the_Boss6"][QUOTE="mems_1224"]thinking i should restart the game as a different class, i just beat it and dont like my guy at all. idk what class to pick though. i wanna do like a sneaky assassin/thief but i want to use some conjuration and restoration magic. i have a dark elf now and wanna try something different mems_1224
I'm sort of playing like that. I use conjuration to bound bows for sneak attacks, and I like my conjured familiar for those moments when I can't sneak. Then one-handed sword, destruction, restoration, and light armor are my other big skills.
do bound bows raise your archery skill??Yeah they do and the archery perks apply to them as well. I love using bows this way, don't have to worry about arrows. Plus they look pretty cool:

Only a third of the original maps?...aw. Looks like they liked everything else that's important to me though.
how do i pay for this...
Whiterun reminded me of Edoras (Rohan) a lot. Made me think I'd love a LOTR game that played like Skyrim.
Try putting shadows on low while leaving everything else ultra and see if that increases your framerate in towns. I'm having the same issue as you, 60 fps out in the wild, below 30 in towns...which is ridiculous given my rig. However, I'm reading over at the Bethesda forums that for some stupid reason Bethesda is using the CPU to render shadows and that's what is causing the FPS hit. Rendering ultra shadows is taxing your CPU when that should have been regulated to the GPU.
I'm not at home so I can't test it, but that might help you out.

Love your avatar. He's one of my favorite characters even if everyone except Adama hates him for most of the show.
Fun hearing his voice crop up in video games, like Tullius in Skyrim.
