I really enjoyed Reach's campaign, not sure where I'd rank it though. The only two things I don't like is how parts of the SP levels are copies of the MP levels, and they had a bit too many sections that were basically like playing firefight.
Went ahead and bought it even though I know I shouldn't have (will kill my GPA). Firefight is a blast with friends and also a good stress reliever (with the right custom settings). I've beaten three levels of campaign so far. I think it's pretty fun but I'm a little disappointed also. I'm going to restart it because I was having a little trouble hearing what was going on as I didn't want to wake my roommates up with the volume. Might change my mind, and I'm sure it will get much better as the story picks up. Multiplayer is also a blast (obviously) and I can't wait to start playing custom infection games because that's where my addiction lies.
Glad I already got my Nathan Fillion firefight voice too.
I don't know how I'm going to wait two months to play this game.
Just watched the Gametrailers' review to torture myself. The one complaint of theirs I don't agree with is how special assassinations take a bit long. Personally, I like that big risk, big reward aspect. It shames the other player if one takes their time with the kill, akin to Gear's curb stomps.
First James Madison upsets Virginia Tech, then the Redskins beat the Cowboys, and now Halo: Reach has scored a 9.5. This has been an excellent few days.
I was one of the few that hyped the game a 10 so I will take the ownage. I'm hardly disappointed though, even if the score is a little...boring.
I had Four Swords for the GBA. The one time I was actually able to get four people together and play it was pretty fun. I wouldn't mind seeing a new cooperative Zelda game for the Wii or DS with online.
Though they could just make a new IP for that kind of game.
