If MS continue with no exclusives that won't work on current gen systems for at least two years then there isn't any reason to buy the next gen console for at least two years, That gives me two years to see if MS's exclusives have improved over current gen which I've had no interest in.
At the time it was one genre the xbox one was lacking so the cancellation probably lost MS quite a few sales, Not because the game was ever going to be amazing it just reinforced the idea that rpgs and especially jrpgs didn't have a home on the xbox.
Platinum should go back to the original idea for the game and make it for the switch, Single player rpg about a girl and her dino/dragon.
Some people wont have even got through 10% of the game after 55 hours, Create character play for 3 to 4 hours restart and make a new character because their face doesn't look quite right from a certain angle or in a certain light, Character creators inflict some people with serious cases of restartitus.
The people controlling the Star wars franchise have lost all their connection to the fanbase, The only thing they care about is selling merchandise and keeping control of everything but all they end up doing is strangling the life out of every film or game that gets released, I do enjoy fallen order but it does feel very restricted, I remember Respawn saying there wasn't any dark side powers because it was Jedi Story, But I guess the truth is they weren't allowed to let Cal use them and had to take the blame themselves so not to upset Lucasfilm.
The Stadia is like the biggest April's fools joke ever, Perhaps someone should tell them its November.
According to Google, ISPs will give increases to data caps for all their customers because they are nice, Software developers will spend money improving games on a system that was dead on arrival, Everyone who lives in a house where someone wants to use the Stadia will all be happy to be offline whilst they play, Oh and according to Google it wont be long till the Stadia has negative lag and run with less loss or response time than a console or computer in your home errrr what!!!!, I don't know what the people at google are taking but I wouldn't mind trying it.
If Amazon keep on the same path as they are with the prime video service they could find a solid niche for a gaming service, Stream older pc games so the data required isn't so high and create Amazon Prime+ so people can pay a bit extra per month on their Prime accounts and get access to free games to play, Don't aim like Google for the best titles but just fun titles, It won't make Amazon billions but it will at least make them a solid profit.
By the time you pay out for the extra data you need to use the Stadia you might as well bought a console in the first place, And add to that all the games being released on Stadia are far cheaper physically than they are on the Stadia, It just makes the whole thing a joke.
I think they need to sort out their security first before anything else, Thousands of accounts being sold on the darknet within the first hour of the service going online isn't a good start.
