Cross-play between PS4 and Xbox might seem like a great idea to some, but all I can see is an epidemic of T-bagging, but instead of one person doing it, the whole team run over each time they kill an opponent.
@6t4gp: Probably because they don't want two groups of fanboys having trolling and baiting matches in every game possible, it will ruin the experience for everyone.
Microsoft didn't allow it last gen when Sony was way behind with the PS3, Now Sony wont do it because Microsoft is way behind, guess what goes around comes around.
But having seen the trolling and baiting on most gaming forums its probably best to keep Ps4 and Xbox players separate.
Guess all the patches couldn't improve sales, and the few defenders of this game there was and gonna get dumped on, but they will keep trying to farm money from the multiplayer pile of excrement.
I was a massive fan of the xbox 360, it had a huge diverse library of games, I've still got two of them set up, but I haven't seen a single reason to buy the xbox one, and this year its just getting worse, cancelled Scalebound and now Delayed Crackdown. They need some system sellers or they might as well cancel the xbox one x and try again next gen.
Cancelled my preorder, Microtransactions in a single player game is never a good sign, Il pick it up on sale, or when they release a gold edition with what ever dlc they add.
@endofaugust: Yeh the good old days, when gamers started their own studios to make games they wanted to play, We all loved them because their heart and soul went into their games, like Bioware before EA got their claws into it, games might not have been perfect but they had something special.
We need the AA studios to be the path finders they always were, so the bigger studios can follow without killing themselves by spending to much and not getting the multimillion sales they need to survive, or gaming will continue to stagnate.
