Okay... Tom... Why on earth would you ask a person to make a game that ISNT fun? As soon as you get EXACTLY what you want from a game (being not fun, die in one shot then the game must restart, etc.) you're going to review it and bash it for not being fun and having stupid mechanics that makes it feel more like punishment than fun. Dark Souls was hard. You still had checkpoints. Albeit they weren't shooting for "authenticity" (or realism as Tom sees it) but just imagine if Warfighter was as hard with no checkpoints.. Thats DUMB. Regenerating health is honestly one of the best things for games, not because of realism or authenticity, it keeps you in the action! Max Payne 3 got rid of regenerating health but still, if it was made Tom's way, MP3's painkiller mechanic would just make you overdose and you start the game over. Tom, I understand that you want a game to feel real, but that wouldn't be a game. What you are asking is impossible in my opinion. There would be no reason to purchase a GAME that is not FUN. It makes no sense..
While not every game needs multiplayer, I kind of thought the same thing about Vanquish. My friends and I at least wanted to play that kind of game co-op. The "option" would be good to have. Not Resident Evil 5 co-op where you'd have a constant partner but Halo-ish where you're just a clone!
krcarter, that is not true! i HATE all basketball games besides NBA 2k8 and i can honestly tip my hat to nba live for their models. if it wasnt for the sweat and lighting then it would tone it down a lot. the people look a bit off in color because of the real time lighting, thats what happens in real life if you're standing right under a light. but OMG T MACS EYES GET SCREWED OVER! lololololololol
that sounds good, but why would you move the wi-fi switch so it cant be hit on accident, but not move the.......power switch...????? stupid logic on your part SCE....
not saying that i wouldnt mind a snd analog, Hugo, but with all the psps out there in only a year under it's belt, that would totally piss of everyone who has one, including me, so they just worked on things they can control as of now. psp2 or whatever it will be will have one for sure, but right now, all they have to do is use some N64 inspiration and use some Goldeneye 64 control schemes and Turok 64 control schemes. It's still possible to play great games with one stick, it just needs some thought!
