If R2 was passable what do you consider KZ2 to be?

Silverbond

It's all opinionated, the comparison you are attempting to present to me is based off the mentality that Killzone 2 is a mediocre game.

I enjoyed the Killzone 2 multiplayer far more than the Resistance 2 MP side, though on the campaign side both were equally average.

Cows are quickly forgetting that no one cares about graphics except other cows.scorch-62

.

That's ludicrisy. 90% of SW is nothing but three fanboy sides barking out reasons for why their platform is superior, or why the other fails in comparison to another platform. Not to mention the praise graphic intensive titles receive on reviews by critics.

Sorry

U2>>>>>>>>Every other 360 exclusive

tonitorsi

Show me a picture of drake close up IN GAME / GAMEPLAY that looks better then mass effect 1

me

Sorry no

That's from a cut scene, though even for the former, that Mass Effect 2 screenshot is from the moments when engaged in dialogue, which is a stark contrast to how the game actually looks when you are in actual gameplay.

well i only played Heavy Rain and Bioshock 2 between the two, i liked the story and settings of Bioshock 2 more (rusted decaying Rapture, story of Lamb/big sisters/big daddies) and i liked the gameplay in Bioshock 2 a lot Bioshock 2 was never meant to be a bastion of new ideas tho, just a good game, so imo i can't really put it down because Heavy Rain just happened to release in the same month as for Heavy Rain, i disliked how they handled the story in the latter 1/3rd of the game but i really liked the QTE's (even if a lot of times they made no impact, they were still entertaining, much like QTE's in most games) and i also liked how they switched between controllable characters (although imo they blew all their potential with the most important character)... i also disliked how they completely skip over backstories to any of the side characters, instead giving them skin-deep personalities for the sake of drama (that's another thing... there's a lot in Heavy Rain that always comes off as simply for the sake of itself)... and as for the genre it's trying to be in, for everything it adds it also takes away (people complain about Mass Effect 2 not being enough of an rpg, well this really isn't enough of an adventure game)... gameplay simply holds the player's hand way too much, and there's little time spent actually letting the player solve any mysteries (which is what makes past point and click adventure games fun is solving things which there is sadly very little of in HR) besides all of tho, Heavy Rain was the most ambitious of the two and generated the most discussion, so for that i'll give it my "game of the month"88mphSlayer

I really have to pick up Bioshock 2.

Would it be worthy of purchasing now? Or should it merit a rent?

I played the first and it was quite fun, though if not a little over exagerrated by reviews I had read.

at least he doesn't hide behind a alt account that is obviously bandodging.mayceV

This is my main account.

I wonder what essleations face is right now, if it were me aI'd think you're lying but that's just me.

No, it's an alternate account.

The other account was created this year, this account was created five years before. The intention of creating two accounts originally wasn't meant for the purposes they are serving now, as I simply hated the name "RyoXX" as it comes from a day when I was far too engrossed in Japanese culture for my own good.

Edit: To clarify, the other is an alternate. Though the original intention for the other account was simply because I despised the name "RyoXX", but alas, this came before.

I think everyone should only use in game screen shots with the HUD's being displayed. As for cut scenes they always look better than the actual game, unless the dev wants to keep them the same graphics for immersion reasons. After all cut scenes is where you watch not play.

HuusAsking

And what if a game is HUD-less? That's been a trend in some games, you know?

Then it doesn't count, silly.

.

These rules are becoming more incomprehensive by the day.

I agree with Stevo. He's obviously right, which is why he's getting attacked.

The truth shall set you free, folks. Don't deny the truth.

BioShockOwnz

Why do you guys feel compelled to defend each other, when both of you have been equally discredited in the past?

 at the alternate account, if you're going to make a baseless insult towards me, at least have the respect to do it on your main account.

[QUOTE="ZoomZoom2490"]

steve is funny, he thinks that everyone here is 8 years old and never played 360 games.Stevo_the_gamer

I do? lulz. Nah, that eight year old margin is a bit high -- rather generous, indeed. :)

Baseless?

So you are refuting my accusation?

You aren't both a stealth troll and pro-Xbox 360 owner.

^This is what you're claiming?

Gotta go with Heavy Rain.

Though technically, Heavy Rain is the MVP of the month.

Heavy Rain Metacritic Score: 89

Bioshock 2 Metacritic Score (both PS3 and Xbox 360): 88

Napoleon Total War Metacritic Score: 84

Stalker- Call of Pripyat Metacritic Score: 79
