Krelian-co

Though you can't really say the franchise lately hasn't fallen into coma either.

Though MW3 is far more important to MS than any 360 exclusive, taking into account how much it sells on that platform (more than any exclusive), how popular it is on XBL and how it was sponsored by 360 at CoD XP.

Couldn't have agreed more.

I've never been a fan of the FF franchise, but at least in the past, I recognized it as a highly respectable series that millions of fans loved, even though I never liked or played it. It was simply big and important for many gamers.

Now, though, it's just trash and SE should be looking at something else to make.

I am looking forward to MW3 a lot and doubt it's not going to be fantastic, but I think things like these are a bit too much, how about us being healthy and not drinking that zhit:

In a fine display of gamer stereotyping, Mountain Dew has revealed its plans for a new "Game Fuel" promotion alongside the new Call of Duty game.

"For many of our gamers, Call of Duty and Mountain Dew go hand in hand," said Activision's chief marketing officer Tim Ellis. "Together we wanted to deliver gamers a one of a kind program around the epic Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer."

This plan sees bottles of Mountain Dew and packets of Doritos coming with 10 digit alphanumeric codes which players can redeem for double XP time in Modern Warfare 3. A 20oz Mountain Dew package will net a player 15 minutes of double XP, a 12 pack will score them 45 minutes while a Wal-Mart 20 pack will allow 90 minutes. 32oz fountain cups, meanwhile, will score 15 minutes of double XP. Combining any Mountain Dew with a bag of Doritos will make a player eligible for a weekly "combo bonus" which nets them an additional 15 minutes of double XP. Ah, there's nothing like healthy eating.

Players are limited to 750 code entries during the promotion period, and a maximum of 24 hours worth of double XP. That's still a lot of Mountain Dew.

Alongside the double XP bonuses, participants will also be entered into a sweepstakes with prizes including a 12 month Call of Duty Elite subscription; a Call of Duty hoodie; a Call of Duty hat; a Turtle Beach headset; a Modern Warfare 3 Xbox 360 with 2 controllers and a copy of Modern Warfare 3; A Modern Warfare 3 controller; and a grand prize of a $45,075 2012 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon with Modern Warfare 3 livery.

Thoughts?

[QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"] All you're doing is taking graphics at face value and not considering the scope of the gameShinobishyguy

So what you are saying is, for Nintendo games not to be similar to PS2 games technically speaking, they need to be linear like corridor-shooters?

this just in, scope is apart of technical graphics. It takes power to render those worlds and areas. Thats the reason why something like Assassin's creed doesn't look as good as a linear game like uncharted.

The fact that it looks as good as it does with a wide open world is impressive given the wii's hardware. Not a single open world ps2 game approaches it.

Sure, it looks OK for a Wii game, but I'm sure Nintendo could have done it a lot better, and that SS doesn't use nearly all of Wii's technical power.

[QUOTE="Shinobishyguy"]And GoW is completely linear compared to Skyward sword.Shinobishyguy

Still... It doesn't change the fact that SS looks on par with a 07 game on a last-gen console. If you ask me, that is something to worry about (if you're a Nintendo developer).

Gears 3 can't in any way top BO.

The only thing topping BO in online activity this year, is Modern Warfare 3. Then, that game will be untouched for a year.
