So it looks like EA has started a pretty good trend... not including all of the content on the discs that should be, or already on the disc but not playable unless you pay extra for it.
DLC is a good thing dont get me wrong, but the developers are taking advantage of it and using it the WRONG way. Instead of releasing %100 of the game to the consumer THEN creating new content,they are only releasing about 80% of the content to the public then a couple weeks later announce the "new" content which is complete bogus and isnt anything new that they've been working on since the games release, the only company that does that legit is Bungie. This isnt because the content couldnt fit on the disc, its because this is the best way to keep a game around longer, becauseit is advertised on every game site,and they get much more money this way than just retail sales.
I dont have a problem with paying for new maps, but i do have a problem with having to pay for a game mode,and even different costume sets for a fighting game... this is only the beginning though. I cant wait to see whats next.
So dont be fooled when you think youre paying $60 for a game. When you are through with it the extra contentwould have cost around another $20 for rediculous "new content".
We shouldnt be paying for **** that should already be on the disc, we should only have to pay for new maps, and an actual expansion (or game-addons, like The Lost and The Damned, ODST)
EA go **** yourself, you're lucky theres lots of ignorance out there or you would'nt be selling the same game every year.
