you kinda got me there TC; based on Gamerankings - there's only one AAAE exclusive game for the 360 as of today and that's Halo 3.

everything else is multiplat; Forza is not even AAAE anymore and Gears and ME just happened to jump to the PC.

this is pretty much the most unexplainable logic that i usually find here in SW where lemms bash the PS3 for not having any AAAE while their 360 which has been out for almost two.5 years and so far only a couple of AAAE releases.

props to the Wii for having 4 AAAEs!

The MGO Beta supposedly ran at 1024x768. I guess that qualifies as proper HD, even if it does render less pixels than 1280x720. And then that was a beta.

i thought MGS4 and MGO was 576p..? :roll:

btw, it seems all PSN games are native 1080p which is pretty good..

imo, cows will even have a better DLC next month or better yet forget about GTA4 cuz of this guy...

you guys make it sound like MGS4 scoring a 10 is a huge negative here. Gamespot gave GTAIV a 10 and it deserves it. you think Gamespot's gonna give a $#!+ about what you think if they gave two games a 10 in a short time..?? heh, NO.

imo, Sony's strategy comes from evolution and revolution

PS2:

evolution - it was a success because it was a DVD and a gaming console in one system.

revolution - since many people back then where interested in having a gaming console and a movie player in one system, it spreaded out and it was the only system to have both available at that time.

PS3:

evolution - they brought in blu-ray as the big brother to DVD with all it's hi-def capabilities

revolution - i guess some people just got tired of watching low-res and wanted to try something new hence blu-ray popularity.. like most fanboys are saying.. "people bought the PS3 for blu-ray not for games" :roll:

to me it seems like a good strategy tbh regardless of how much they sell it...
