for me, i would opt for PC/PS3/Wii.

if i could have a high rigged PC then i dont really think there's any point on owning a 360 since some of its hitters are also available for PC.

AAA 360 games that you could pretty much play in other systems:

Gears 1 - PC

Bioshock - PC

Mass Effect - PC

Forza - i played this once and it was great but you see GT5 on the PS3.....

as for keeping the Wii, it's good for having it around during parties..

Well apparently achievements add to the value of a game, so surely devs will want to add them in. I cant imagine them being that hard to implement either. I wonder if Sony will make devs use them. If big guns like Konami are pushing Sony to use them, that's a good sign that developers actually want them to. Hopefully these trophies will be good. If not, at least it's not going to take away from the game, lol.

Exactly. Just look at games like MGO, these individual devs are left to figure out how online will work. So these devs can make you sign up for their websites to get an ID then get a gaming ID, and so on. Online, Trophies, and in-game XMB might be really just up to the devs if they want to implement them or not, because Sony is not making them mandatory. And speaking about mandatory, the devs can also have mandatory installs if they wanted to.

I thought the gaming ID for MGO was just for beta... and why sneak in a "mandatory install" comment? That's irrelevant.

that MGS4 + PS3 bundle could be one of Sony's trump card.. If that plan succeeds, then it's possible that LBP, Resistance, and/or other huge hitters coming out this year might end up being on a bundle. They'll probably bundle it anyway even if it fails; but that PS3 / MGS4 bundle DID attract a lot of people.. Who knows how many preorders have been sold ever since it became available. I heard somewhere that it was already sold out at the Konami's store site..

if Sony gave the PS3 another price cut then it could be a huge blow for the 360 since the 360's price cut back in Europe didn't even fazed the PS3 hence PS3 dominated it.
